    Just...brilliant.
Even now, that camera-pull-across is one of the greatest in history.

I dunno if its THE best ending ever, but Unbreakable has to rank pretty high.

The T2 ending when he drops into the molten metal and gives the thumbs-up on the way down is pretty great.

Utterly corny - probably one of the worst endings.

    Miike is the shit.

Shame Japanese cinema is sort of past prime now, it was amazing while it was at it's peak, early to mid Miike era.

Now you have shit like the Tokyo Gore series which can't even begin to compete with prime Miike.

    The whole movie was under-whelming.
Compared to 'The Terminator', it was Grade-A shit-action-movie..with kids in it.
This is Speilberg's main problem with movies: kids.

Agreed, Terminator 1 is a classic, one of the best action/sci-fi films of all time. Exciting, tense, raw, gritty, and just awesome.

Terminator 2 is just a cheesy action film with good special effects for it's day.

T1 is far superior to the sequel. T2 is a very entertaining film but it's a terrible sequel.

Have to agree with some of the ones already mentioned:

IMO The Usual Suspects is the best ending of all time.

    Inception was great.

Arlington Road had such a good ending that it saved the movie (which was kinda dull leading up).

Another movie saver, was the Johnny Depp movie Finding Neverland. Utterly boring movie imo, but the ending was so well done and magical in a child's kind of way that it made up for the prior 2 hours (imo at least)

Yeah, I mean for a mainstream action flick T2 is not bad at all, it's entertaining, but Terminator 1 is a lot more than that.

    Other great movie Endings:

    The Others
    The Mist
Karate Kid (Not quite in the same vein and you may laugh, but that Crane Kick to end the film was spectactular)

Schwarzenegger is perfect in that 1st movie.

In 'T2', they added shit comedy and some kind of pathetic 'human' element to his character - highlighted by the stupid 'thumbs-up-in-the-molten-metal-pit' ending.

'Butch Cassidy & The Sundance Kid' (1969)

"Hey, wait a minute, Sundance. You didn't see Lefors out there, did you?
    "Lefors? No."

The ending of Rambo 2008 is epic and possibly one of the most rewatchable battle scenes in cinematic history.
