The good thing about this fight is that we wouldn't have to listen to Teddy's crazy motivational speeches between rounds because it would never get to in between rounds. In 1996 Moorer was a tormented soul who hated his life and hated boxing and just showed up to go through the motions hoping somebody would do the job and Tyson as crappy as he looked in the Holyfield fight would still do the job.
Even the Tyson of the Ettiene fight would KO Moorer. 96 Tyson wasn't shot. He was past it, but he still had a lot of speed and explosiveness early. 96 Tyson KO 1.
Yup. I can see Teddy giving this motivational speech right before round 1 starts. Moorer..your dead father is watching..and you`re about to join him.
I agree that '88 Tyson beats the shit out of both of them. But '96 Tyson gets worked by Vitali and drops a lopsided decision. He has a chance to catch Wlad. As far as Moorer goes, prime for prime Tyson KO early, '96 Tyson KO at some point, any version post-2000 gets schooled by the Moorer from Holyfield 1.
Despite their physical advantages if either Klit fought the '96 version of Tyson I think the fear factor would have been so high both would have folded. Vitali would show more stones than Wlad, but I think he eventually folds as well.
Vitali is THE most overrated heavyweight of all time. One of the most overrated fighters of all time PERIOD. The man has fought nothing remotely CLOSE to the 96 Tyson, LET ALONE a prime Tyson. Even the 96 Tyson was 10 light years above Areola, Briggs, Chisora, Adamek, and Peter. It is absolutely amazing how overrated Vitali is. Mike would have skull fucked both those robots. I don't think the current version of Vitali hits hard enough to keep Mike off of him. Briggs took damn near a million flush shots from the guy and didn't go down. Even Arreola was never taken off his feet. Mike would have walked through Vitali. Vitali's slaps would have little effect on Mike's chin. And I don't care how good people think Vitali's chin might be. He's never been hit by anybody near the power and SPEED of Tyson.
A prime Tyson is just too fast, too skillful, and too powerful for Vitali. Vitali wouldn't be able to just hold him off forever. Mike's hand speed is nothing Vitali has ever seen before and the ferocity of Mike's attack would also have an impact on him mentally. I think Mike either TKOs him late or wins a wide UD. Wlad on the other hand gets iced in no more than 3 rounds.
It's not his fault his era is shit. Just because he hasn't fought a guy like Tyson doesn't mean he couldn't compete. This analogy is what annoys me more than anything, if Tyson himself was unlucky enough to compete in this cesspool would that mean he couldn't compete with anyone from the glory years? Of course not. One thing to remember, is that whilst his competition has been shit, he has treated them like shit. He's lost, what? 8 rounds or so since the Lewis fight? He has been crazy dominant. I'd say for one shot power, Lewis hits just as hard, if not harder than Tyson. That uppercut he took in the 6th round alone was proof enough to me he can take a shot. Also, even if his power is overrated, he hits hard enough to keep a fighter honest. Tyson was knocking ten shades of shit out of guys Holyfield struggled or went the distance with, yet it meant fuck all when they fought.
#ucking bich steev dave. vialti is to exellent conditiion if he woud of fought you woud bow down to him if you met him. tyxson woud have kill him when he get him in trouble accept now its to late for him i think in my mind.
