You could chalk it up to Jone's less than impressive recent performances, or to the fact TR is a part of the problem like every other promoter, or you could simply acknowledge that boxing isn't what it used to be, but who the fuck really cares?

The bottom line is, Mike Jones is next in a long line of half-truths, and it's plan B for him, now that it's apparent he can't make it legitimately to HBO's Saturday night card.

i agree that bailey wont be competitive, but he is mandated by the sanctioning body. knock it all you want but having a belt means more money and career advancement for jones.

Not exactly a far-out statement, everyone knows that. If you'd said "Bailey will eventually catch him with something big and KO him" then I'd have been impressed. Everyone knows Bailey can crack and that even at this age and weight division, guys have to be careful of his right hand.
