You know when a politician says something ridiculous, like Rommey saying the poor are fine and are taken care of, Duane Ford by saying Bradley gave Pacquaio a boxing lesson ranks as the most RIDICULOUS statement ever in boxing.

I don't know how this man ever works in boxing again.

Well we kind of knew that already LOK, but at least you can score a fight :bears:

I honestly think even Bradley's dad and girlfriend struggled to give Bradley more than 3 rounds.

After watching this 24/7, I must say I agree with Xplosive, Timmy's wife isn't QUITE as ugly as I thought.

When they showed her in the Alexander 24/7 I honestly thought she looked like a female version of Chris Arreola.

She's no beauty, but not as fugly as I thought.

BTW loadedgloves, what are your thoughts now about the possibility of the fighters being in on the fix?

I don't think either of them were in on it. Bradley looked like he knew he'd lost the fight, he was barely able to bring himself to say he thought he won it.

And Pac cruised at times, but I think that's just today's Pac. I don't think he'd allow himself to lose, he has too much pride for that and he might see it as letting down his country. Whatever other character flaws the guy has, that is clearly very important to him.

Then again, on the other hand, maybe he'd be ok with it if everyone in the country knew he'd really won .. there were times when he had Bradley ready to go, and he'd step off the gas. But on the other hand once again, Bradley at times looked like he was just trying to survive. It's hard to knock out a guy who is in that mode.

I find it believable and likely that Arum fixed it. I don't think Bradley was in on it at all. I think Pac could have been on it, but it seems unlikely and is hard to believe.

Pacquiao of the last Saturday would have Ko'ed Bradley but after few round he took it easy on him. For the first 1-2 minutes nothing happen in those rounds, until Pacquaio decided to throw and land combos.

Pac won 10-2...9-3 at worst. I thought the judges were handed the wrong cards by the promoters...the cards for Pac vs. Bradley read like the cards many were expecting after May vs. Cotto..and vice versa

Re-watched. And again, Pac didn't look the same to me. He just hasn't got the fire. In addition, he once again seemed to (comparitively) struggle when the opponent fights moving (strategically) backwards.

Also, I wonder if Pac didn't trust his conditioning...?
he seemed to only be interested in fighting in spurts, & he did come in at a career-high weight.

May vs. Cotto cards should have been 115-113....or 116-112 for Mayweather(never said otherwise, so straighten your panties)....but 118-110, 117-111x2 were cards that should have been handed in for Pac vs. Bradley...

Pac vs Bardley was far more one sided than Mayweather vs Cotto. Don't even talk to Sly about the Manny vs Bradley fight though, I doubt he has even seen it.

Pac vs Bradley is 11-1, 10-2 at best. Cotto gave Mayweather a much tougher fight.

    I voted DRAW.

I just didn't see it being that clear cut either way, and certainly wasn't a robbery.

So far, if you discount shit-stiring & willful misunderstanding of the question, it is 52 to 0 and one draw

Cotto vs Mayweather was more competitive than Pac-Bradley. I can see an argument for Cotto winning 4 rounds, but I really can't see Bradley getting 4.

That would be a horribly one sided beatdown.

I score based on who lands the punches, who controls the fight, who wins the rounds. I don't score on who puts in the best flurry for the last 30 seconds of each round, or for who the biased commentators believe won. I think it was close.

“I thought Bradley gave Pacquiao a boxing lesson,” Ford said. “I thought a lot of the rounds were close. Pacquiao missed a lot of punches and I thought he was throwing wildly.” - Judge Duane Ford

I agree, not really on the whole "boxing lesson" part, but otherwise I think it's an accurate statement.

Then you simply have no idea how to score a fight.

Bradley threw more but barely landed a clean punch in the entire fight. Pacquiao landed more clean punches in pretty much every round. 90% of Bradley's punches hit air or gloves.

You were scoring punches thrown rather than punches landed.

You were scoring punches landed by the fans/commentators/compubox, rather than punches landed on screen that you can see.
