    Nope, I was counting the clean punches that I saw. While I was watching the fight I had no idea what fans or compubox was saying.

    What I saw, and what happened, is Pacquiao landing at least a handful of good, clean punches every single round, and Bradley throwing more but hitting air and gloves for pretty much the entire fight apart from rounds 10 and 11.

    I think you should rewatch the fight, and this time actually pay attention to who was landing clean punches, rather than just throwing them :Thumbs:

    For those who don't know, you score the fight running, not at the end of a round. So here's a classic example of a Pac Bradley round:

    First 2 minutes, Bradley stalking, aggressive, lands 3 jabs and throws plenty. He's winning the round 10-9. Pac then lands a jab and a left. Round even 10-10. Last 10 seconds, Pac lands 2 solid lefts and Bradley hits air.

    Pac's round 10-9.

    About 4-5 rounds went pretty much like that, so I figure judges and others scored those rounds for Bradley because he "controlled the majority of the round". Complete bullshit.

    Here's another tip. Watch a close round twice....once, watch Pac and only Pac. Then only Bradley. Then score each round separately. They'll both be different scores.

    When watching a fight, if you concentrate too much on one fighter, you only see that fighter getting hit. So you need to be spatially aware and follow both equally.

    I'm reading that Marquez had Pac up by at least 5pts, & Floyd snr says that although Manny lost to Marquez, he clearly won against Bradley & the judges "should find new jobs".
    I can honestly not remember such a consensus about a decision being B.S before.

    This will be intersting though:

    The World Boxing Organization (WBO) has assigned five recognized international judges to re-score Manny Pacquiao’s controversial split decision loss to American boxer Timothy Bradley Jr. This comes in an effort to convince state athletic commissions to widen the pool of judges for major fights.
    WBO president Francisco “Pacoâ€￾ Valcarcel said five judges from New Jersey, Connecticut, Florida, Pennsylvania and Puerto Rico will re-score the bout and submit their work confidentially to the sanctioning body.
    The WBO, however, cannot overturn the decision nor strip the belt from Bradley.
    Valcarcel said they are only trying to use the experience to have better scoring in the future.
    Top Rank chief executive Bob Arum has submitted a formal request to the Nevada Attorney General’s office asking for an inquiry into the circumstances surrounding the fight.
    Senate Majority leader Harry Reid, the senior senator from Nevada, is also calling for an investigation.

    I hope the results leak.

    Well clearly I'm not, the 3 judges pretty much scored it that way.

    Everyone on here who thinks it was a 1 sided fight can't even agree on which were Pac rounds, Bradley rounds or too close to call. Sounds like a draw to me.

    Again, its the way you score fights I reckon. When I was blind drunk, not scoring the fight running and sympathetic to Bradley, I gave him 5 rds and was being GENEROUS. When I sat down sober with an HD download and watched intently, I gave Bradley 2 rounds, three at best.

    There were a LOT of rounds where Pac did nothing until the last 30 seconds, while Bradley was very active. That doesn't mean Bradley wins those rounds, but this is the exact issue - judges and a few people gave Bradley those rounds because "he won more of the round".

    Wrong. Bradley may have been very active for the first 2.5 minutes, and technically winning the round 10-9 through activity, he hit nothing. He hardly hit Pac at all and hit a hell of a lot of glove and air. And in the last 30 seconds, Pac would open up and hit Bradley with a bunch of shots, evening the round 10-10 then closing the round winning 10-9. You gotta score fights running, not at the end.

    lolz, as if that matters. 3 judges awarded Rios the victory over Abril too, and Rios won no more than 3 rounds.

    Again, if you even think the fight was close, you were scoring punches thrown rather than punches landed.
