Cotto beats the crap out of him at any weight, Bradley doesn't have the power or speed to do much to Cotto.
I actually think it would be an interesting fight at 140. Don't get me wrong, Cotto would win and probably big... but I'd say that's Cotto's worst weight and Timmy's best.
I can imagine Bradley doing better at 140, but not winning. Cotto is a clear cut above the likes of Bradley, even at 140. And Bradley isn't powerful enough to hurt Cotto even at 140.
I just don't want to completely write Timmy off. Pacquiao is an all-time great, no shame in losing to him on points. Even though Pacquiao isn't the same animal, Bradley was able to do a lot more with him than Cotto was.
The irony is, as you may remember, I've defended Bradley a lot, considered him underrated, and always said he'd beat Khan for example. But man, he looked crap on Saturday, at this level anyway. I know even today's Pacquiao is an amazing fighter, but still, Pacquiao looked pretty much exactly how I expected based on the Mosley and Marquez fights, ie not great. The difference is I thought Timmy would do much better than he did, and the truth is Pacquiao made him look pretty scrubby. As REED said, he looked almost like a clubfighter, sloppy and unimaginative. I just think Cotto would pick him apart and outbox him, not hugely dissimilar to what Pacquiao did. I gave Cotto 2 rounds Vs Pacquiao too, all Timmy did was manage to last the distance against a very passive Pacquiao that clearly carried Bradley, and wasn't looking to dish out a vicious beating.
Yeah, I hear you. Even though Pacquiao didn't look vintage, I still thought he looked like a great fighter. Not as hungry, but still f'n incredible. It's important to point out that Pacquiao hasn't even really lost any rounds against anyone between fights with his stylistic nemesis Marquez.
