Shumenov is crap enough for Hopkins to beat, his limitations became very obvious when he stepped up in class. No fear of Hops losing to a white boy here

Shumenov would jab and move his way to a wide decision

There should be a poll option for "Why is this fight even happening???"

I used to look forward to seeing a Hopkins fight, but now he's just annoying.

This has all the ingredients to be a classic Hopkins performance.
Therefore, I will not be watching.

True. Tito was basically his last hurrah then he started rationing punches like they were bacon & there was a war on

Fucking Islam is what it was. Islam denied us a great, free-punching Hopkins. Hopkins on his bacon was damn-near unstoppable. Then he got religion. No more bacon. God came into his life, stink came into his style, that was that.

Shumenov too big, too strong, and most importantly, too busy.

He is going to be the first guy to beat up Hopkins.

shumenov is garbage. hopkins has a great chance to win. he knows how to pick um, except when a fight is forced upon him as the dawson bout was.

I agree. Hopkins has shown he knows how to pick an opponent, but he's screwed up here. He should have gone after Cloud's belt.

When Hopkins is slurring his words a few years from now and everyone is talking about the toll his long career took on him, etc, it won't be because of anything other than getting bashed by Shumenov.

Hopkins is smart, though. He'll probably look for a way out around round 4 when he realizes where this fight is heading.

    LOL

that's what Islam does, it turns you into a boring fighter. Well known fact that all Muslims are boring fighters. Notice how Muhammad Ali started to hold a lot after he became Muslim? I bet Free Ike has written volumes on this exact topic

Mosley and Hamed too. Hamed started that religious stuff......lost to Marco. Same with Manny Pac. Manny got God, but Bradley got the decision  Now that Bradley got God......who knows. Could be Kotelniks time.
