Bradley vs. Pac Second Viewing on Tonight

Who did they award the decision to this time?

 

I had it 116-112 for pacquiao. I can see how some rounds could have gone either way. I haven't seen the regular HBO version with Lampley screaming like a 12 yr old Bieber fan for Pacquaio.

Pac is at the Oscar De La HOya stage of his career where everytime he throws a punch the crowd (and Lampley) scream whether it lands or not. I saw Bradley landing many good body shots and left hooks upstairs. he also walked into several straight right hands...took them flush.

I said it once and I'll say it again...if Manny gets in with Floyd (especially based on what happened last week) he's going to take a momunemtal ass kicking. I'll be one of the biggest one sided big fights ever.

I thought Bradley won the first two rounds. I also thought he won the 7th fairly clearly. Lampley chose that round to play without sound then finished the segment by calling it "the smoking gun."

Replaying the round clearly showed Bradley won it and more importantly showed how fucked punchstat numbers are.

 

Bradley won 2 rounds, 10 and 11.

 

Well that fight is never gonna happen anyway, so its a moot point.

116-112 was my score. Pac clearly won.

 

I'm honestly surprised some of you are giving Bradley 4 rounds. He landed fuck all, he was literally hitting air and gloves 95% of the time.

I think the only round where Bradley clearly landed more punches was round 10.

 

A week later and Pac still got robbed.

 

noone did anything. i had bradley winning 2,7,10,12 but rounds 1 and 11 were both close. surprised how much difference a week, and no volume have. never thought bradley was in any trouble, but when i first saw it seemed like he was ready to go numerous times.

bad decision, but no chavez-whitaker type robbery.

 

pretty much the same here ( not on the rounds but on the perception I had of the fight). When you're not paying 100% attention to the fight, Pac seemed to do way better than he really did because he landed all the flashy stuff. Pac still deserved to win but it was closer than I thought and as you said, Bradley never seemed in serious trouble

 

Um, no, make that Pac landed the ONLY stuff. It's not an exaggeration to say Bradley barely landed a clean punch in the entire fight.

The only thing I agree with is on second viewing Bradley seemed less hurt, somehow he did seem ready to go a couple of times in the first fight.

Either way, he still only won 2 rounds and basically hit air and gloves all night.

 

After rewatching....Bradley won 3 rounds...maybe 4....

 

I watched the fight live in the Philippines. They actually have Mario Lopez as the announcer for whatever station shows it. I thought Bradley won. I guess I am in the minority. Pac looked like shit to me in that fight Bradley won 2.5 minutes of most rounds Pac did not do enough.

 

i found it hilarious they picked that round.

 

They picked it because it was I think the only round given unanimously to Bradley that was a "clear" Pacman round, thus providing evidence that they were 'all in on the conspiracy'

 

Bradley won that round. Period. It was a terrible round to use as evidence.

What I've learned since watching the fight is that Pac should have won. "HOWEVER" the way it was reported and discussed all week you would have thought Pac whupped Bradley's ass like he did Cotto and that clearly was not the case.

 

I absolutely agree, it's not like he gave Timmy a vicious beating. It was a tepid performance and a boring fight.

But he basically schooled Timmy. He was one step ahead all the way through, and I think there's only one round where Bradley clearly landed more punches, round 10.

 

Anyone who thought it was close, let alone had Bradley winning, should switch sports to MMA

 

Lampley should have used round 5 where two judges gave it to Bradley. That was a clear round for Manny.

I didn't think Manny had Bradley in grave danger, but it was as clear as day round 5 was a round Manny won going away.

 

HBO talking about people being "in on a conspiracy". Thats good. HBO is in on most conspiracies the difference is they don't know it and don't give a fuck in any case. They just worry about their end line and that is getting suckers to put money up.

 

The more people rewatch and rescore this fight, the more you're going to be looking for a reason to give Bradley rounds. This is why some people are now saying it was closer the second time around. Of course it is, you're TRYING to score the fight for Bradley.

 

I view this through a different lens. I agree pac won...it wasn't as dominant as reported. 10-2 or 11-1 for Manny is simply ridiculous.

The way the fight was reported and discussed you'd think Bradley took an ass kicking like Margarito or Cotto. That didn't take place.

Bradley didn't win, but he certainly didn't bitch up or give a poor account of himself.

 

10-2 Manny really is the fairest score. There was only 1 round in the entire fight where Bradley clearly outlanded Manny, and that was round 10.

loadedgloves scored the fight 10-2, that should tell you something, if he's not scoring a Pacquiao fight objectively, no one is.

And no, Bradley didn't bitch up, he was just thoroughly outclassed against the most tepid Pacquiao yet.

If you give Timmy more than 2 rounds, you are scoring punches thrown, more than punches landed, it's that simple.
