Quarter-Final Draw:

Slice vs Gatti

Winner of Q/Final 1 vs Winner of Q/Final 3
Winner of Q/Final 2 vs Winner of Q/Final 4

Rules:

Eliminate based on picking the winner, first. If one guy gets the right winner, the other guy doesn't, we have a winner.

Then time of win - if one guy wrongly picked Germany to win inside 90, the other correctly picked that they would win in extra time, he wins. That eliminates based on picking the right result within 90m.

Then final score if both got that right.

And if both guys got all that right then and only then do you even look at the scorers.

Where do penalties play a part in this?

 

well to make it easy, why don't we just predict which team wins the shootout? (if you are predicting a shootout win for either team). Surely most people won't predict pens though.

Everybody picked Portugal to win and everybody picked Ronaldo to score except for Slice. No big point difference thus far.

 

So we keeping the scoring rules as we did in the groups?

Only because a few of us have predicted 3-1 or 2-1 or 2-0 and it only finished 1-0 so some guys have picked more than 1 goal scorer too. Knockout round should be stricter rules?

Bit late to change anything now and i'm sure it will all pan out ok, but maybe try something different in the semi final/final.

 

Yeah I had the feeling it would be a tight defensive game with him providing the assist rather than score himself. However I am the only person who got the score correct :kidcool:
