If there was a thread i didn't see it.

Lopez isn't going to give Ortiz much problems at all from what i have seen. Meanwhile Mattyse-Soto could be a foty candidate.

Matthyse-Soto is by far the most interesting fight tonight. That should be a great scrap, and I expect Matthyse to fuck Soto up.

I'm just hoping Victoria doesn't choke tonight. I hope he blows this bum away in a few rounds, so we can see Ortiz-Canelo.

Not sure how interesting Matthyse - Soto is, how much of a chance do you give Soto?

He's a decent fighter, and more crafty and experienced than Matthyse, but he's small and aging, I'd be pretty damn surprised if he wins.

I've never seen him fight, but based on his record, and the fact that he is a 140 pounder, he surely has minimal chance of beating Ortiz?

Then again, Ortiz is a fruitcake, so you never know, and this guy looks pretty big for a 140 pounder. Bear in mind he is listed as 5'10.

Jose actually trained me for a bit when the guy was a featherweight...lol
He has quick hands and a good chin but only power in his left hook to the body and head, he will give Ortiz problems but Ortiz should honestly be just too big.

The guy was a featherweight? How legit is his 5'10 listing?

Honestly, it might be off by about 2 inches, Im 5"11 and I had a significant height advantage on him I say he is 5"8. But he does look very tall sometimes cuz of how skinny he was.

Interesting, but not surprising. It seems most fighters get an extra inch or so, apart from English ones for some reason.

You really think as low as 5'8 though? That would make Ortiz (listed as 5'9) closer to 5'7.

True that, it seems impossible to believe the biggest welterweight in history can be in the 5'7/5'8 range. Ortiz has to be at least 6 foot.

Interesting fight so far, Lucas bigger and stronger, but crude, Soto looking the better fighter so far.

Awesome fight, Soto looking a bit outgunned, but getting his digs in, and hits just about hard enough to not get walked down. He buzzed Lucas a bit in the 2nd round.
