For the MENTAL MIDGET Championship of the Wooooorrrld!!!.....Lb for Lb, Which Fighter QUITS 1st???... REEDopcorn:
Golota..... he took the hardest punch Tyson could land at that point of his career...and got up like nothing....a round later he quit for no reason other than he was terrified....You rewatch that fight and Tyson looked soo old and sluggish...but Golota didn't have the nerves.
Tyson was sh*t in that fight. Golota '96 would've eaten him alive if he didn't have the confidence of a 6 year old schoolgirl.
Golota. He won 90% of the rounds versus bOWE.Just beat the shit out of him and couldn't finish because of his small mind. Ortiz quits when he is behind. Golta quit when he was winning.
They might confer in center ring & quit together. Skip back to the dressing room arm in arm singing follow the yellow brick road.
They can't all be as manly as Arthur Abraham. He fought his ass off with his jaw hanging off his face.
Yeah 'cause we've no reason to suspect Ortiz might've taken the easy way out, eh. And a boxer exaggerating an injury ex post facto is pretty far fetched
:::: Still can't believe he turned up in a fucking wheelchair, it's beyond ridiculous. Pretty funny too how it's all the Floyd fans that are trying to defend Ortiz. Hungry young lion yo!
While there's Admittedly DEGREES of Broken Jaws, PLENTY of Fighters have Withstood a Similar Fate & FINISHED Fights...Moreso, Ortiz is a Victim of HIS OWN History, so he's Not Really Deserving of the BENEFIT of the Doubt... REED:mj:
I just can't shame a guy for choosing not to continue fighting with a broken jaw. I had my jaw broken when I was 18 during a heated game of Marco Polo at a neighbor's pool. Try remaining stoic and tough in front of a pool full of teenage girls with blood gushing from your mouth and your jaw hanging loose. I would have quit on my stool if I was playing a game of checkers at the time. I finished a high school baseball game with a foot fracture, and I finished a football game with a dislocated shoulder. Neither was as bad as the jaw. It hurt to breath or turn my head. I was shocked Ortiz was talking in the ring after the fight. The one thing the doctor told me was that the severity of broken jaws varies greatly and the pain has a lot to do with the degree the jaw dislocates. I mentioned Ali-Norton specifically and the doctor said Ali's was a significant injury. Ortiz broke his jaw in two places and required surgery to re-set the jaw and wire it shut. I have no idea how that compares to the severity of Ali or Hipp or countless other guys that boxed through the pain. All I know is that I can't fault Ortiz for staying on his stool.

It is, I wonder if it's one of those bare arsecheek gowns, that would be an even better look for him.
