I was watching it with my girl and for some reason (I forget why) we got distracted and stop watching it. Needless to say neither of us felt the need to suggest that we need to finish that movie. It wasn't bad but it wasn't that good either.

 

so you haven't seen the movie and have nothing to contribute apart from trying to brag about being with a girl? :clapagain:

Nah, I'm saying I was watching it and the jokes seemed written well, but for some reason they seemed to be missing the mark ever so slightly. I think it had to do with the casting to be honest.

The point in my thread was, having started that film and later getting interrupted and abort the viewing about 45 minutes into it, neither me nor my girl felt any desire to go back and see it through to completion.

For another example. On my flight home last Thursday I started watching Money Ball and with about an hour left in the film I had to abort watching it due to us landing. My thought at the time was I have to finish that film, and I did yesterday. (Expect a full review at some point).

 

yeh its not amazing...but a few scenes had me rolling

like the part with the old lady
