Someone brought up how RJJ has become more of a sympathetic character during this dismal part of his career and how even folks who hated him don't want to see him get beaten up any more.

I was wondering...are there any fighters who you don't (or didn't) feel any pity for and would never get tired of watching him get his ass kicked.

I know we have some serious haters of particular fighters here and I'm wondering if your feelings have softened any toward fighters you had a serious dislike for in their heydays...or if that fighter couldn't get beaten up enough for you, even when way, way past it.

I was never a Tyson fan, but I did get tired of watching him embarrass himself at the end of his career and was relieved when he finally retired.

There has never been a fighter I hated as much as Ray Leonard. And I enjoyed watching him get slapped around by Terry Norris and watching him getting beaten up and stopped by Camacho, of ALL people, was really, really funny.

But I suspect if Leonard hadn't retired after the Camacho fight, the joy would have eventually dwindled and I would have started feeling bad for him as well.

You can't help to feel bad for Sugar Ray. Molested in his early 30's by his trusty coach. Poor guy.

I've heard he's a nice guy in real life............but I could watch John Ruiz get Tua'd, over and over and over again.

Plasterito for me. Then probably Floyd.

Even Jewdah doesn't seem that dislikeable now.

    Wow, why the Diaz hate?

I never really liked him, or his style, but didn't think there anything hateable about him.

I think it's the StingerKarl factor on this site.

I thought he was a fun but odd fighter. For a guy who couldn't crack an egg he sure got a lot of leverage in his punches. He wasn't one of these volume arm punchers.

I LOVED. That Rahman knocked him out

    Knocked him out cold....

Funny how the Lemmon lovers respond with "Lemmon got him back"

Thing is... He got knocked out COLD BY Rahman who worked as a trash an prior

Lennox is such an ahole I could watch him get stretched every day of the week and enjoy it

Much of what I hated about RJJ was his shameless running from opponents who would actually do him harm. And so following his first fight with Tarver, and especially his ko losses to Tarver and Johnson, what's to hate? He hasn't exactly come down to earth, but almost immediately following those losses, I found myself rooting for Roy. I was especially pulling for him against Hopkins.

The sport is eventually too brutal for almost all fighters that you really have to be a sadist to enjoy watching the guys you hate get ko'd repeatedly. For me, it would be easier to choose someone if I hated them because I actually knew them, but I generally hate them because they are overrated or seem fake. One asskicking usually solves both of those problems.

LOK, why do you think all of us average joes call Wlad a pussy considering that he is competing in the most dangerous sport in the world and risking his life while all the rest of us just sit and watch like armchair warriors?
Do you think it's right to call boxers pussies or any fighters for that matter? Just asking since you box and you've been hit and know how it feels to get hit hard.:dunno:
