It's been in production for a while. It does look kind of messy, but it has the potential to be fun.

    looks awful. poor casting too.

  5. Quentin Tarrantino...Eli Roth...RZA...Lucy Liu...Russell Crowe...
Made me laugh seeing each of those names appear one after the other...like "Fuck me, who else can they get in for this bollocks?"

WTF would anyone want to watch it? I got as far as 45 seconds into this and I can assure you it'll be a total fucking failure.

    :shit: Guaranteed.

Same as Illu, just stopped the trailer after I saw the names: Eli Roth and RZA. Tarantino has already "Presented" two crap films from Roth. Is Roth his butt buddy?

  11. Tarantino's just creepy allround.
Never rated any of his movies.

Why would you stop after seeing rza? He has been in some very good movies and is very established producer and composer. He has spent many years on this film. He is a huge fan of old martial arts film, which influenced his music career as well.

As for Roth, I'm not a fan of directing, but the writing is no big deal.

    Reservoir dogs
    Pulp fiction
    Jackie brown
    Kill bill
    Inglorious basterds.
    Death proof

All classics. And if he was writing this movie it would unbelievable. But he is just presenting it which means. Has absolutely nothing to do with it

I agree with the others that this looks like a royal mess, but it can be fun (I love kung fu movies). But a most important question to Anthony is: who is the owner of that fabulous ass in your signature?

    You dont recognize Whiskey's sister?

  16. I dont like any of them now.
I watched them when they first came out and out of that list, Inglorious Basterds is my 'ok-I'll-watch-it-again'.
Jackie Brown I turned off after 30 mins, Kill Bill Vol 1 was okay I guess, nothing special (fucking hate Thurman - ugly beyond belief), Death Proof I never watched, Reservoir Dogs I went to see the first day it came out and never really got into it.

When it comes to music artist turn actor...RZA is one of the better one....same with Mos Def....

    PF,RD,IB classics.....

Never finished Jackie Brown or Kill Bill....

Don't remember Death Proof...I'm sure I saw it...

I wouldn't call death proof classic . It was very good but not classic. And Inglorious jews I'm not a fan of at all. Maybe it was the subtitles but I just didn't like it much at all.

  21. That's fine....I just feel now though that they were a little over-hyped for my liking.
I liked the script of 'Pulp Fiction', and it had some greta set-pieces and I could probably watch that and 'Reservoir Dogs' now and enjoy them....but I've never been much of a fan of Quentin.

Could be fun but who knows. Either way, let me just say this: I love the Rza and I love the Wu Tang but the Rza as an actor needs to be kept to very small bit roles. I can't stand looking at his face with his big bottom lip hanging open and hearing him talk with that stupid lisp. That scene with him in Due Date is an unwatchable mess and makes me feel embarrassed for him every time I see it.

Jackie Brown is one of the worst films I've ever seen

  27. He changed his mind.
As I would hope many, many others did after reading the first-line of the incredulous plot:
"In nineteenth century China, the Blacksmith (played by RZA) is forced to create elaborate weapons of death for a small village"

    Hmmm...darkies...in China....in the 1800s? :scratcher:
