Jose Napoles vs. Aaron Pryor @ 140

Who wins?

 

I'll take Napoles, thanks. If ever there was a need to establish echelons for Boxing legends, Pryor outlines it. A beast of a fighter, but he is merely a fringe player for all-time greatness --- Napoles is a shoo-in inductee. He's got Pryor's number IMO, even in Pryor's backyard of 140lbs.

 

One things easy to predict: neither man would have to look very far for the other. That being the case gimme Napoles' superior defense, footwork & short punching

 

Defense is a key issue, Hut*Hut. Pryor's too wide open for Napoles to take anything less than full advantage, regardless of the outcome.

 

As long as Napole's thin skin holds up, I like him to decision AP because he'd land at a much higher connect rate because of his timing and his terrific defense

AWESOME fight though

 

...& Pryor got away with that against lesser adversaries. I don't think it'd be the case with the slashing offense of Napoles, but Pryor was a terrific, "fighter," in the true sense of the word.

Don't know about this one. I'd lean towards Napoles but with no great conviction. Either way it'd sexual & dzirty

Pryor would do well early, but it is only a matter of a couple of rounds, three at the outside until Napoles has him timed and lowers the boom on him. It would have been a methodical taking apart by Napoles but Aaron's still fighting back when he is stopped.
