    Have to disagree and with Griffin also. The possibility of losing of course has something to do with the meaning of the fight (only thing that Anthony got right this evening) and of course the possibility was there and it was more likely than other fights.

    And what the does "it was only the most hyped" mean. You make it sound like it's two completely unrelated things

    Why not I mean he got shitkicked for 4.5 rounds and the win could be declared lucky with that out of his ass last minute submission. I don't see why it can't be. The first fight clearly elevated Sonnen's status thus making him a more high profile challenger going into the second fight. :dunno:

    Well according to some people he wasn't gassing in the second round and the first round looked as good as the first fight, so I can't see what exactly could diminish anything here...

    OK can't argue the PEDs... not sure what to make off that. Oh yeah then the fight was more meaningful because fights where one fighter is doing something illegal shouldn't be regarded as more meaningful, i think in my mynd. :flip:

    But Silva didn't have to be that scared anymore, assuming Sonnen would be cleaner this time around.

    While I'm happy Silva won, I got to say ( even thought I hate the rule ) I'm not to sure that Anderson knee was legal. It seem it was aimed to the face and that Only because Sonnen held his hands high was it deflected to the body

    The funny thing is that the knee was the only meaningful shot Silva really landed.

    And what was with the quick stoppage?

    I wanted Silva to beat Sonnen, but the whole final sequence just seemed odd to me.

    I don't get it, I've heard multiple people say Silva was scared. He rushed Sonnen out of the gate throwing bombs. Sure he got taken down for it, but he sure came out aggressive for a guy who was scared.
