    Dude you're 5'6" :l1:

How the fuck am I shorter than you. Good news on that front, th ewife is organizign a trip for us and the kids to OTTAWA in the first week of August..so we can sort this out and I can get paid. I'm not going to bring her with me, naturally (you might discuss forum nonsense in front of her...can't have that since she doesn't know about my forum life), I'll just tell her that I'm going somewhere to collect $500 and be right back.

Woo-hoo! Pics to be taken for Fightbeat. If you want, after I win the bet, I'll give you a chance to box for your money. If I don't drop you on your ass at least once in 3 2-minute rounds, I'll hand your cash back.:finger:

And I wouldn't discuss forum stuff with her, for Chrissake. She doesn't post on here. I'm not the type to rat you out about which celebs you think are attractive (other than Floyd Mayweather Jr, of course). We have a bunch of trampolines set up though, so your kids would probably have fun jumping on them with my little lad.

Obviously if your wife and kids were there, we couldn't spar. That wouldn't be right. I'll treat you guys to a bbq.

Chi Town Slugger still mad about that stuff eh?

Don't worry....you may be a big tough block like Geroge Chuvalo, but I;d tatoo your face so badly with combinations that you'll be forced to quit.

You're too short and fat to have a chance against a speedy slick black fighter. :kidcool:

What's funny is that you actually think that you're taller. You ACTUALLY believe it.

You met me in person, and you still believe it. That's why I say you're a little nuts. You'll gladly throw away $500 on a lie.

Anyway, that $500 will pay for our trip. Thanks buddy. :bears:

I'm not going to spank you with your kids around. Gimme a break!

Alrighty, see you in August, sly. There's a lot of nice attractions around here, so you should have a good time.

Oh, and in the response to it being a lie. How am I lying when I believe it? Unless you were walking with your legs bent, it's close either way. Maybe you were subconsciously kneeling in fear?

If we can still talk boxing, then the rest of the stuff would totally be off-limits. You don't need to trust me. I trust me, and I'm not the type to go back on my word, which you are being given. Obviously I was decent to be around when I we met up, and I was trusting enough to bring my wife with me. Don't be a nervous Nellie! :)

Alright, Fightbeat Radio Show. Sounds good. No forum talk, but we can definitely discuss the topic of boxing, and you can check out my fight collection. I have a LOT of bouts.

Maybe he's afraid his kids will try to sign up. The language CAN get pretty salty around here at times. I don't blame him.

Buddy, if Sly is only 5'5 surely he can't be 175 pounds?

Judging from his pics, if he was 5'5, he'd probably be about 130 pounds.

He's fairly built. I didn't think he was much smaller around than me, but I carry bodyfat whereas he's pretty lean. Most people have seen my pics. I'm stocky and wide. As I said earlier, he looks bigger built in person. His arms and shoulders in particular.

Maybe he's lighter. There's a guy here at my work who looks like he's 200lbs and weighs 168. Maybe sly's like 155, or maybe he's put on weight in the past 4 years. I dunno.

In the pics that I posted where my body fat is almost as low as it can possibly be, I was 172lbs. I couldn't get to 155lbs and be healthy.

I dunno how guys like Shane Mosley (approx my height) can fight at 147lbs. Dunno how they do it.

172 is pretty light. Then again, you're not using drugs to drop weight and you're not living in a sauna or cutting weight quickly and then putting 10lbs back on.

I'm surprised you're 175 actually. You look a decent build, but still fairly slim in your pics, not that built.

I'm 5'9 and only about 155 or so, and I'm not skinny, I'm only a bit more slender than say, Floyd, in overall build. I could make 147 easily.

You have guys like Pavlik who is around 6'3 and 160. Or even look at Ray Leonard. 5'10 and 147, yet he didn't exactly look small or skinny.

Fair enough, I guess we can't talk about posting on the old Boxingpress or SecondsOut board. I guess I'll just say we chatted about big fights on the Radio Show like Hops-Tito, Barrera-Hamed, Jones-Ruiz, Floyd-Corrales, etc.

Sly looked way skinnier in the photos he posted than when I met him. He was pretty muscular in June 2008.

I could get down to 165, minimum...but at that weight I'd start to look malnourished.

In 2005, I made it down to 169lbs. I know it sounds like BS, but if you look through my Facebook profile pictures, there's a few pictures of me and my wife when I was that size. In one, I went to Wakefield, Quebec in August 2005 to do the Great Canadian Bungee Jump. I looked scrawny, but I was watching what I ate and jogging 7-10km every second night. On the nights I didn't jog, I went out and walked the same course. It took 5 months, but I was right down there.

Cool. Radio Show all the way. I can talk about some of the other "callers" who were making predictions like Reed, Ken, and the like. It's feasible that the boxing talk still went on, but it just didn't happen on the forum.
