    I hate Sonnen as much as crotch rot, and I was questioning the stoppage. I've seen many fights allowed to go MUCH MUCH further. And given the magnitude of this fight, I would have let it continue until Sonnen took a little more damage.

    True, but he wasnt taking that much damage either. Brock took WAY more damage, was allowed to continue and beat Carwin. And Sonnen's chin is much better than Lesnars.

    But it's ok. Sonnen will fight his way back in line.

    To be fair Chael looked hurt to me.
    After watching the fight I couldn't see the blow that would cause that much damage. However I would never accuse Sonnen of being a quitter therefore I think he was hurt.

    Silva obviously hits pretty hard

    Exactly. It's was a quick stoppage just because Sonnen laid on the floor like Tina Turner taking it from Ike.

    Neither did silva really. He landed like one punch. Again, people have been given more time than Sonnen was and was taken a lot more punishment. There is precedent. I dont contest the decision. It's done, but i have an opinion on it. Just dont go around actling like Silva gave sonnen a beat down. That isnt the case.

    by his own feet, i agree. That being said, Sonnen has still betten Silva for 5 our of 6 rounds in their fights together. And Sonnen is the only real threat out there are 185 for silva.

    Rounds mean nothing when you get subbed and stopped. Fact is in two tries he didn't see the final bell once.
