Who can bench press more Sly or Buddy?

I'm sick of these gay threads about who has a bigger c-o-c-k etc you guys are gay. So anyway since they both workout around 4x a day from what I can gather. Who do you think can bench press more ?

 

Buddy, no doubt.

 

What makes you think that ?

 

I recall Buddy saying he did a 300lb bench for 2 reps. I think Sly's best is 260 x 1 based on memory.

 

Body type. Buddy looks much stronger. Sly looks more athletic though, he's beat Buddy in a foot race no doubt.

 

Buddles weighs more. So it would make sense I think.

 

How much can you bench, Godfather?

 

I do 225 for 8 reps. But I haven't done max in years years years. 260 is actually a pretty damn solid number even for one rep.

 

Nah, it's not just the weight. Both guys train but Buddy lifts more for strength I believe while Sly does lower weights and more reps. Sly was in good shape in that picture he posted but he said that since then he gained 20-30lbs of fat and then tried to take it off for his trip to Cuba with his wife but just couldn't get back into that same kind of shape.
It gets a little bit harder to get back into good shape once you let yourself go when you're in your 40s. Got to put a bit more effort and spend more time in the gym.

 

225 x 8 reps is a max benchpress of 279lbs. Good job! :bears:

 

Ya but you're not going to see a 160 pound man benching 300 pounds. It's possible but not very common.

I know everything about Buddy and Sly. How could I not? I've been posting with both of them since 1999. I even know Buddy's son and Sly's son.

 

How do you figure that?

 

It's not common but I would believe that a man weighing 160lbs is not doing muscle/strength training otherwise he would put on more muscle weight. Unless he's an extreme ectomorph having trouble putting on weight. Those are the guys who can eat anything and not gain a lb like mexican wedding shirt who can eat 3 Whoppers, 4 Big Macs and a KFC bucket and barely gain anything.

 

I'm a semi-professional bench presser. I train people to increase their bench press.
