I think Sly is 5'6. Are you 5'7 LOK?

 

It's difficult to say. As I said, Sly does look in the 5'9 range in pics, but he could be 5'8 or even 5'7.

If so - Buddy might not be crazy afterall for confusing the height difference, if Buddles really is over 5'7.

Is Buddles the only person on the board that has met Sly?

 

This is one of the most entertaining threads in fightbeat history. Still, I urge D&M and Buddy to burry the axes. You guys are both okey in my book.

 

a good source at the paddock has told me he is in fact 16.1 hands high.

I know that you're messing around as usual but in case the others are unsure...

To be clear:

1. Travel plans were not altered. They hadn't been confirmed in the first place.
2. You and I differ on this (among other things); you think it's bravery and ballsy to meet a forum member to have a fight over a harmless e-beef...and I think it's immaturity and...quite frankly...insanity. ::

 

If you had said this in your first post over a week ago, this whole thing wouldn't have dragged out all this time needlessly. Wasting your own time in the process.
You could've just said "Thanks but no thanks" at the very first mention of the height off and boxing challenge.::

i have a good friend that we trained together for years.. he is 5'6 or so and seems very short

Buddy only came up with this because his feelings are hurt (from my smacktalk).

Let's look at the facts:

1. he suddenly deletes me off Facebook (boo hoo hoo)
2. I insult him and he says something like "You'll ge the chance to say that to my face"
3. I say I would anyway and he says "I'll measure your height while you're horizontal" or words to that effect.
4. I insult him again, and he wants to organize a "sparring session".

So this isn't some friendly sparring session between pals, this is a FIGHT....just in the ring and not in the street so that neither of us get in trouble with the Police.

I'm not partaking in such foolishness: a fight over an e-beef. Come on.


But YES, I do spar. And it's fun. But I spar with friends at the gym or other friends who box.

The short fat one wants a fight, under the guise of sparring, and I have no interest in that.

Yep! What else could the reason be? You've met Buddy once already in real life 4 years ago. Why not meet him again and tell him what you really think of him in person? What's he gonna do? Beat you up in public? :: Just slap him and walk away. You can outrun him if he chases you.
