Friends With Benefits

Watched it last night and was entertained. Much better than its competing film "No Strings Attached". Predictable, but its two stars, Justin Timberlake & Mila Kunis, really had great chemistry and pulled it off unlike Anton Kushner and Natalie Portman whose performances felt forced. 7/10

 

I actually like "No Strings Attached" more.

Portman is just good.

 

FWB is far better!

Mila Kunis is sexier than Portman, and Timberlake is less annoying than Kutcher.

Plus, FWB is just overall a funnier/more entertaining movie.

 

Portman has the nicer ass...but just cause Kunis has no ass....

 

My thoughts exactly. I just don't find Kutcher funny at all. Timberlake is no Marlon Brando but he's not Keanu Reeves bad either. Mila Kunis is way hotter than Portman. I still can't believe she's russian, she looks exotic.

 

Kutcher is a turd. One of the biggest wastes of life in Hollywood.

Timberlake got a bad rep for a lot of years, because of the fag boy band he was in, and for ducking any responsibility when Janet's titty popped out at the SB. However, Justin's acting is above average. I think he does well in comedies. He was funny in FWB, and in Bad teacher.

He also did a good job in The Social Network, and in In Time. In Time was a let down of a movie IMO, but it wasn't because of Justin's acting.

Oh yeah I almost forgot, he did a good job in Black Snake Moan as well.

He's 50x better than Kutcher. And yes, he's a far better actor than Kenu Reeves as well.

As for Mila. Listen, I'm an ass man (I'm black, duh) but, even if Mila lacks an ass, I'll make an exception.

She's fuckin GORGEOUS!

Movie was ok for awhile but then faded at the end, as these types of movies are prone to do when they suddenly feel the need to go against their original intentions to try to satisfy the audiences need for a certain type of ending.

And I'd like to say that it's a trade-off for her going with me to see something like "Braveheart" or "Tombstone"... But that would also be a lie.

 

Both movies were crap. Kutcher is one of the worst "actors" ever to walk the planet. The only reason for his "career" is 14 year old girls.

 

i think it's a pleasant movie, nothing special but it's what you can expect...though it's completely stupid that they suddenly fall in love without warning.....it doesn't make sense
did you guys pick up on one of them secretly being in love with the other or something?

It's always the case in romantic comedies....you've seen one you've seen them all.

At the end the man is always either running after a bus that he woman is in, or he's at the airport catching her before she gets on a plane or he's ruining her wedding. Always some shit like that.

Seriously though, I didn't cry (and it wasn't a romatic comedy) but the end of "Indecent proposal" certainly "put a lump in my throat". Was rather touching... :scared2:

 

I cried at the end of Wayne's World.

 

I cried at the end of "The English Patient"..............because I was so happy it was finally over.

 

this movie is a bit dumb because they both suddenly realise that they love each other at the end...but throughout the movie there's no sign of any romance at all :scratcher:
