If Steve Dave and Buddy Rydell had really fought, who would've won?

The fight was close to happening but they couldn't agree to the rules. Steve wanted boxing rules, Buddy wanted MMA rules.
Regardless, I would've gone with boxing rules since this is a boxing forum. Anyway, if they had met, who would you have made a legitimate solid favourite if they had fought under boxing rules?
Buddy is around 5'6, 205lbs. Steve is 6'3" around 210lbs I'd guess.

I believe steve has the skill advantage and the enormous size advantage, but Buddy has the tenacity and the crazy factor going for him.

Still, he said that Chitown Slugger was rattling combos off his face and he couldn't deal with Sluggers 6' height and reach, so I'm not sure what he could do against the 6'7 steve.

That was what, four years ago? And even back then I was 220 at the very least.

You are a tall guy for sure, probably about 6ft 3in, but 235lb is doubtful. You really don't look near 17 stone.

Depends how he is built.... I am 6'3 with a skinny build, I'm 225 but you wouldn't guess I was an ounce over 200 if not lighter (but in reality i am a fat bastard and should be about 190)

 

Chi-Town was a golden gloves champ. He wasn't some pear-shaped CBC reporter who pretends to know how to fight. There's worlds of difference between them in every aspect of boxing. ::

 

Just for reference, Lennox Lewis was lighter than steve dave when he fought Bruno and Ruddock. Lewis was 229lbs and under.
If steve really trained for fighting, his proper weight wouldn't be 235. I'd say closer to 200-210 for him would be a good fighting weight.
