I doubt it. Roger was just a much better technician than trash-Khan, and far more responsible defensively. And what's more, at 140, Roger's chin was no worse than Khan's. In fact, A Mere is the one fighter Roger has a chin ADVANTAGE over. Uncle Roger would have beaten the shit outta Garcia.
I don;t think so, I also think Roger's chin wasn't so bad at 140. The extra weight seemed to help his resistance somewhat, he was no longer one-punch away from disaster the way he had been at 130. His survival skills had improved as well. Roger is a vastly superior boxer to Khan, far tighter defensively and a harder hitter, to boot. I agree with X; I can't see Garcia doing much other than gamely taking a boxing lesson/beating
Khan couldn't miss Garcia with right hands. He was busting Garcia up badly until he got stupid and got caught. Mayweather would have bombed Garcia out with right hands or busted him up so badly that they stop the fight.
He was landing the right hand in the first round, by round two he had gone back to pussy flurries and running away. Khan has always been stupid, be it round 3 or 10 that punch from Garcia was going to land and when it did it was OVER. Roger Mayweather put Garcia in a coma with a right hand...by round 3
