August 11 -Tavoris Cloud-Jean Pascal/Adonis Stevenson-Donovan George SHOWTIME Card was canceled when Pascal injured his hand. Tentatively rescheduled for October. August 25 - Gennady Golovkin-Dmitry Pirog HBO card was canceled when Pirog suffered a back injury and pulled out. Replaced by Gregory Proksa, rescheduled for September 1. That's the shitty part - August DID feature its best ever lineup on paper for the month. Too good to be true, of course, but amazing that every show was scratched.
Jesus, that is fucking nuts. This year has been crazy, every single appealing matchup has been canned for whatever reason. I actually think Golovkin would have beaten Pirog, how about you? That was definitely the best matchup.
If they hadn't scheduled anything in the first place it might be worth taking a stand. Just seems like it would be a hassle at this point.
