If I can get 7/10 for taste and 10/10 for convenience that gets weighted as 97/100 in my lazy ass book. Besides it tastes better than oven cooked, oven grilled or fried which are my only other options.

Hut, I prefer grill panned on a gas hob - by a huge margin. More control over heat, better grilled taste.

But then I have to stand at the hob, watch it, think, turn them over at appropriate intervals, manage not to fuck it up somehow, clean the grill which is way harder than with a Foreman. It's all too much.

I make sure to eat healthy but otherwise I have all the inherent laziness re:food of an Iceland shopper. Easy, easy, easy. Must be easy. Will power gets used up quick you know, gotta pick your battles.

I have an awesome grill and love grilling. But as Hut said, the Foreman is a great option, just for the convenience and ease factor.

Hahaha. Well see, these days I don't go out drinking much etc, so I don't mind putting the time and effort in to making really nice meals.

I obviously do like quick and easy things too though. I'm somewhat of a workaholic, so a lot of days I do go for easy options - preferably healthyish though, not takeaways.

But yeah, though it can't compete with a grill pan or a proper grill, the Foreman grill is good. I used to have one, even cooks steaks fairly well actually.

What size grill do you have Hut?

What kind of awesome grill? Like an outside jobbie in the garden or something in your kitchen?

What a wanker he is. A. WANKER.

In other news, I see that Jimmy Magee has stolen a typewriter again.

    http://www.rte.ie/sport/olympics/boxing/2012/0808/332616-taylor-through-to-the-olympic-final/

The Bray boxer took a 3-1 lead in round 1, attacking from the start with little response from Chorieva.

Taylor, demonstrating the kind of sleek footwork most boxers in the men's draw could only dream of possessing, did most of the damage with a string of left hands as Chorieva tried to avoid the Irish woman's potentially devastating right overhand.

    :scratcher: :scratcher:

.....here comes some more......"Chorieva tried to bridge the gap in the final round but it had little say and the eight-point win set up a final clash tomorrow at 4.45pm."

So....eh....if she had won by, say, 4 points over "It" would the final have been at 4:34pm or something???

"Ochigava progressed in a similarly professional manner - winning 17-11 - but did not mince her words ahead of the final, saying there was bias in favour of the Irish fighter..

"She is one of the best, but she is just another boxer. In my opinion Natasha Jonas won the first two rounds against her, but the judges didn't see it that way," Ochigava said.

"When you fight Katie you are already minus 10 points. You are fighting the judges and the whole system and they will try to give her too many points."

Elsewhere, three-times world champion Ren Cancan from China beat Marlen Esparza of the United States 10-8 in a virtually punch-free contest in the women's flyweight semi-finals.

 Professional boxing in the Olympics.

"Shields beat Kazakhstan's Marina Volnova to advance to the final while Volnova went home with a bronze.

Shields will face Russia's Nadezda Torlopova, who won her semi-final against China's Li Jinzi to advance to the final while Li went home with a bronze"

That Bronze...its the thing to go home with, it seems.

Magee is the king of hyperbole. Every punch landed by an Irish fighter is "Blistering"..."Lightning"...."Thunder"........every knockdown of an Irish fighter is a "slip", every knockdown by an Irish fighter is akin to a "JCB knocking down a house".

What size foreman grill? Not sure man, it doesn't say anything on it. It's not terribly big, maybe about the size of a cake box or something.

    Another medal for Ireland.

Ireland got a Silver {at least} and two Bronze today

So Nevin, Conlon and Barnes are all on a bronze, minimum, that wanker on the horse got a bronze, and Katie is on silver, minimum.
