Just got back from seeing this. SO MUCH FUN. This movie was a blast. LOTS of action. The opening is very good. Van Damme was fucking great. Just loved him in this.

  4. Good stuff!
I bought the first movie yesterday on DVD as the missus hasn't seen that one yet.

If people can't enjoy movies like this, they need their heads examining.

Know who's is even weaker? Van Damne's. He was locked into a contract that paid him around 80 grand per film when he was on top. By the time he got out of that contract he was already a straight to video guy.

Where did you hear this from?

Jean-Claude Van Damme estimates that he earned an average of $70,000 per picture for his first seven leading roles, a collection of films that starts with "Bloodsport" and moves on through "Black Eagle," "Cyborg," "Kickboxer," "Death Warrant," "Lionheart" and "Double Impact." It wasn't until "Universal Soldier" in 1992, that he would receive his first real Hollywood paycheck for $1 million. From then on, he made no less than $3 million per picture, peaking at $6.2 million with "Street Fighter."

I googled his bio one time when I was trying to find info on his wives. I was actually off a bit on how much he really made because I was going off memory. He did make a few million before he went straight to video but he missed out on a lot in the beginning because of the bad contract.

I only saw this now. Much better than the first time. Now you can actually see what happens in the action scenes, and the actors in this one have much more charisma. It tells you something about the movie though that adding van Damme to it makes it much better
