Naseem Hamed vs Amir Khan at 135

9lbs too much for the short fat lad from Sheffield?

I reckon its as intriguing a mythical matchup ever posted.

If Khan was in his Steve-Robinson prime right now, and if Khan was at the Barrera stage of his career....who wins?

 

Khan wins....Hamed was too short...and small to make 135

 

I'd rather see at 126

I think it was Valero but same idea.

 

Hamed's normal ring weight was probably low 130s. He could come in at that and probably still KO a 150 lb Khan.

I'd take Hamed at his best.

 

Hamed was quality, but way undersized in this one. He looked small compared to Barrera, who was outsized himself vs Khan

 

So would I. Khans flurries wouldn't bother dancing shifty bobby Hamed, Hamed would get through with single big shot, to the chest and gut if necessary, and Khan would slowly get sucked in.
