Two example possibly out of 5. Rousey hasn't been caught but she's damn muscular too for a "clean" fighter. Just saying.

 

Rousey is only muscular on fight night, between fights she's soft. I have never seen Cyborg soft, ever.

I am confident I have applied the same basic stance to anyone busted for PEDS as well as those duping fans with the TRT bull.

But am I little more concerned with women? Absolutely. Anabolic steroid use by healthy women makes them manlike. For some reason that just pisses me off more.

To an extent I agree. No pro bodybuilder is going to maintain 280-300lbs after coming off the juice but that's because their bodies were so far beyond their natural genetic limit, but someone that gained maybe 20lbs of muscle over the course of a year or two can probably maintain that for a lifetime fairly easily.

 

Androgenic side effects of steroids are sometimes blatantly obvious in women. She has the body of a man. It's not just from diet and exercise.

Her body, her facial features, her hairline, her voice, they've all been changed through steroid use. It's obvious when it happens in women's bodybuilding, and it's obvious with Cyborg.

For the record, I'm not against steroid use in general. I'm against a fighter (especially a woman) using them to cheat when they're banned in whatever organization they're fighting in.

Off cycle? That's more like what an athletic woman looks like when she's not taking male hormones.

 

Maybe, maybe not, the point is, she's got physical gifts that most women don't have when it comes to athletic performance, steroids or not. Steroids only enhance what you're born with, it doesn't take an average Joe and make them Barry Bonds or Mr. Olympia. It still takes quite a bit of God given ability to be the best at something, steroids or not.

 

I'm betting she was off cycle. Winstrol is used to look more ripped and dry. You don't retain water and look bloated like many other steroids.

Yea but her argument is that Cyborg isn't the champ anymore at 145 because she was stripped of her title when she tested positive. Rousey says she's the champ now, although its at 135lbs, and that Cyborg needs to come to her to fight the champ. I don't agree with this logic in this case since Cyborg was stripped of her title and didn't lose it in the cage, but I don't think anyone that follows MMA has any doubt Cyborg is the recognized 145lb champ even if she isn't holding the belt at this moment. In my eyes, she's still the 145lb champ and has been champion a LOT longer than Rousey have been champ at 135lbs.

Its a super intriguing fight and I think both parties are being stubborn, the best solution is for them to meet at 140 with no title on the line. I don't think anyone really cares if its for the belt when you have to the best two recognized champs in their respective divisions only 10lbs apart. 140lb catchweight is only +/-5lbs away for both of them.

Its the biggest fight to be made in women's MMA right now, they would both be foolish to let this opportuinity pass them by over small details. But hey, we're still waiting on Pacman vs Mayweather aren't we, which is still mind blowing.

 

I'm not saying she's average, just that she had an unfair advantage against a lot of her opponents. I'm not sure she would have beaten Gina Carano in a fair fight. Cyborg is one of the most skilled and talented fighters in women's MMA. When she cheats and her opponents play by the rules, it's not a fair fight.

Nobody doubts that Margarito was a talented fighter. An average Joe can't put plaster in his gloves and beat someone like Cotto. That doesn't make Margarito any less of a cheating piece of shit.

Mr Olympia is different, by the way. Every pro bodybuilder uses steroids, so it's not cheating when someone like Arnold used drugs to build muscle and cut fat.

 

Cyborg vs Rousey = Mayweather vs Pacquiao. All of these vaginas do more talking about fighting each other than actual fighting.

 

But what you're saying is that Margarito had been cheating using plaster of paris in his wraps his whole career. Its the same thing. Margarito got caught in ONE fight, just like Cyborg did. Its no different. You'll never know for sure if Margarito had done that his whole career because he was only caught once.

And then you say she's had an unfair advantage against a lot of her opponents, but this would have to be based on a fact that she had done steroids against those people which we'll never know and quite frankly is unfair to assume. The other assumption though is that no one else has ever done drugs but Cyborg, I can't prove it but I can't say its not impossible either just because they haven't been caught yet. Not everyone that does steroids has to look like Cyborg. Josh Barnett, Tim Sylvia, and Nate Marquardt aren't really all that impressive physically, Nate probably more so than the other two, but still...
