Overeem on the other hand put on 40-50lbs of lean muscle in a 2 years span, that I can tell you from experience can't be done without some "assistance".

He acts like Cyborg DESERVES some benefit of the doubt because she only tested positive once.

Everyone has their opinion and everyone will certainly draw whatever conclusions they want. Certainly you believe what you believe whole-heartedly and that's fine. Opinions differ.

REED, its still speculation though. I'm not disagreeing that its highly probably she's been using drugs for a while, but then again I feel many top MMA fighters do and occasionally they get caught. I'm still not willing to write-off her talent and God given physical attributes and say that its all because of steroids. Would she still be dominant without any drugs at all? I still think she would be. We'll never know for sure, but its not a realistic expectation to think that we can monitor her 365 days per year to make sure she's not using anything. All you can really do is make assumptions if she's using them or not, but if she doesn't test positive, you still have to give her the benefit of the doubt. She's only been caught once so far so there's no conclusive way to tell if she's been using them her whole career or not.

I'm not 100% convinced that Rousey hasn't dabbled in drugs too, she's quite a bit stronger and more muscular than most women in MMA also, however she hasn't been caught yet if she is doing them so that makes it ok...for now. Maybe she has never done them, I don't know for sure but I can't convict her of it based on my assumptions.

 

I agree her that its going to cast a nasty shadow over her career now. There will always be that doubt in fans' minds if she's ever been clean. It's something she'll have to deal with though. I still think she's incredibly talented and I still think she beats Rousey, drugs or not.

 

Cyborg is a GOTdamn BEAST for Sure...She's Up There w/Ann Wolfe, as Women REED ISN'T 100% Certain he Could Whip...

I think we'll get the answer soon, likely within the next 6 months. Women's MMA isn't even as complicated as even men's MMA in that making the big fights usually seems to just happen. If there's one thing I envy about MMA compared to boxing is that the lack of managers and promoters seems to make big fights so much easier to make without all the BS. The MMA business model is top notch for fans.

 

As long as they're fighting in the same league. :dunno:

Doesn't seem much different then WWF. The company owns their ass.

 

Basically, and boxing isn't that way at all which is why MMA's business model is so much better. There's no BS managers, promoters, money, venue, etc to get in the way. They're told who they will be fighting how much they're getting paid and I'll see you on fight night. Good luck.
