Sergio Martinez Unanimous Decision. Sergio is much faster and fights from the outside. The only chance Chavez has is to frustrate Sergio and try to bring him into a brawl. Chavez can't do much unless he's on the inside. If Sergio stays at a distance and just boxes, he wins.

Probably but that's easier said than done. The second half of the fight could be interesting if Martinez starts to tire.

 

I think that junior will walk face first into the majority of the shots that Sergio will unleash and catch one flush on the chin and then it's lights out for junior.

 

I think that is a very distinct possibility the way junior walks in with his hands down.

My immediate feeling about this fight was that Jr was overmatched. I think if there is a fight that Sergio will grow old overnight for, it will NOT be this one.

apparently top rank was ready to call the fight off several weeks ago due to chavez jr.'s weight. i expect he may miss the weight for this fight by a few pounds, accidentally on purpose.

I'm rooting for Martinez ( even though Chavez as grown on me recently ) but I felt he was a little bit too disrespectful toward Jr. Sure, Jr. ducked him before but now that he signed for the fight, Martinez should just let it go.
