Fantastic movie. This is by far Quentin Terrintino's best. The movie contains many classic scenes.

An otherwise ridiculous, kitschy piece of garbage from the auteur of exaggerated, borrowed movie motifs (Tarantino the faggot) which is nevertheless rescued by Samuel L. Jackson's hilarious, screen-dominating performance... thus, it is the only remotely good Tarantino film, since the rest are trendy bullshit

Personally I was greatly entertained by Reservoir Dogs, Pulp Fiction, Inglourious Basterds, and even Death Proof

I realize being entertained by popular work, be it music or film, somehow makes me less cultured or artsy, but oh well. Tarantino is far from being one of the "Best Directors" but he's had great moments. And Pulp Fiction is absolutely one of them.

Personally, direction aside, the screenplay for Pulp Fiction was a fantastic work. I read the actual screenplay before watching the movie and the dialogue alone made it a great read. And as great as Jackson was, other characters were absolutely brought to life by Travolta, Keitel, Willis, and for my money, especially Eric Stoltz in the most brief of appearances.

My favorite scene was when Ving Rhames was being raped. His pants were down and that dude was f*cking him in the buttocks.

Don't get all Lb4Lb on me

Where did I say anything about "popular = bad"

I love many extremely popular, famous movies, it has fuck-all to do with that

I also love a lot of music that is or was "popular'

I just happen to HATE Quentin Tarantino's bullshit movies

It was a general comment and not directed at your opinion of film or music. But true nevertheless.

Despite it's Obvious Rewatchability, there's No Denying Pulp Fiction is 1 of THE Most Pretentious & UNoriginal Films Ever Made...

Pulp Fiction was great. So was Reservoir Dogs. The rest of Tarantino's films are whatever.

Reservoir Dogs is better IMO and is a genuinely entertaining affair. I also liked Jackie Brown and From Dusk til Dawn.

I find his movies to be 70s nostalgic versions of Kevin Smith films, only with violent gore

I don't like that faggot either, so fuck you

Tarantino is an unashamed rip-off merchant, no doubt about that. But he does it very well and I enjoy his movies, regardless of how unoriginal they are.

It WOULDN'T Affect REED's Views on Tarantino's TALENT, Even if he was BLACK, but the Whole N Word Reliance REALLY BOTHERS REED....REED has NO Problem w/it Being Used, Even by NON-BLACK Directors, Scriptwriters, etc., but Tarantino's Usage is SUPERFLUOUS...

Seriously, You Could Watch ANY 70's Blaxploitation or 90's Hood Flick, and Hear FEWER N-Bombs Dropped...REED Can Almost Envision Tarantino in a Dorm Room w/the Homoerotic Frat Boys, GIGGLING, as he Added the N-Word to his Scripts, UNnecessarily...Almost as if he Wants to See just How MUCH he Can Get Away w/It...

Tarantino Makes ENTERTAINING Films, but he IRKS the Shit Out of REED, Because of the Aforementioned...Dude Even CLASHED w/Denzel Washington Over the SAME Issue...Tarantino was Brought in to Co-Write "Crimson Tide" & he ADDED Dialogue where Gene Hackman Drops the N-Word on Denzel...Having SEEN the Flick, REED Think Hackman & Denzel Created GENUINE On-Screen Tension WITHOUT Having to Even "Go There", so to Speak...Nonetheless, there Tarantino was, Ready to FULLY Exploit the Lowest Common Denominator...

& Before ANYBODY Labels REED Incorrectlly, Look up ANY of his Floyd Mayweather Posts Over the Last SEVERAL Years...REED's an OPINIONATED Brother INDISCRIMINATELY....

That's fair; it's always something which has annoyed me too. I like his films in spite of that silliness.

    agree with this, definitely

It worked to a degree with Samuel L. Jackson's character in "Pulp Fiction", but he clearly overdoes it, trying to shove it into every movie as much as possible

Spike Lee IRKS the Shit Out of REED too & he Went to the SAME College REED Attended...Spike Likes to Whip his DIRECTORIAL "Dick" Out & Proclaim it to Be BLACKER than Any Other Directors...For the Last Few Years, Lee's PRIMARY Black Target has Been Tyler Perry...

Perry Makes Some PREDICTABLE, 1 Dimensional Ass Flicks, but he's UNapologetic about Appealing to a PARTICULAR Audience (Mostly SOUTHERN Bred, African-Americans)...Nonetheless, Spikes' PRETENTIOUS Ass Accuses Tyler Perry of Being a "Coon", of "Setting the Black Race BACK" & Other Heinous Racial Trangressions...The Bottom Line is, Perry SERVES a Particular Purpose & STAYS IN HIS LANE...

If REED is 90% Put Off by Tarantino, then he's 80-85% Out Off by Spike Lee.....
