Aye, if only he could find somebody expert enough to teach him you're meant to keep your right hand up on a left hook. Maybe he can seance up some one on one time with Jack Blackburn.

His defence is worse than his chin. What I mean by that, the shots that KOed Khan would KO a lot of fighters. Khan unlike most gives his opponent an easy target

Agreed. Fighters with good 'chins' don't leave it hanging on a washing line with their shoulder down at nipple height like that.

Part of being good defensively simply comes down to have good defensive reflexes and eyes. Khan doesn't have those reflexes and eyes. He simply doesn't see shots coming, and that's something that CANNOT be fixed.

The guy is a lost cause.

He can beat the bums, and shot fighters of the world. Put him in there with somebody in their prime with a decent punch, and decent skill set, and he'll fail as always.

I don't know. That neck shot from Garcia. I feel a lot of guys would have brushed that off pretty easily.

Now he's going to go and find some trainer to teach him how to clutch-hump, and we're going to learn to hate him even more then we already do.

The left hook Holt dropped Bradley with was 10x more devestating than the hook that Garcia dropped Khan with, and Timmy survived.

If that same Holt left hook had landed on Khan, Amir might STILL be out two months later.

Isn't his defense a hell of a lot better than it was before Roach though? Khan simply has a shitty chin.

He's still in denial about the whole thing.

But Roach is an overrated trainer and can't do shit for him anyway.

Tall, fast guy with a good right hand and a shaky chin.. Manny Steward is the perfect trainer for him.

Roach has vastly improved Chavez Jr. style...in the last few fights, regardless of what happens in the Martinez fight. Khan just have a terrible CHIN, crappy defense and he has a very low boxing IQ...

Yup I was going to post MANNY STEWARD. Perfect Khan JAB/right hand combo...and improve his footwork. Keep it simple stupid....Jab/right hands, NO lead right, hooks, uppercuts, no faggity flurries...

Honestly I can't see it with Khan.

You could probably "program" him to pussy clutch a bit more up close and what not, but Khan's handspeed, range, and workrate are his best assets, and I think the Steward style would detract from Khan's offense. As basic as it is, it's effective to a degree.

He'll never be a skilled boxer, with good defense, he'll never have good ringsmarts.

So while Steward could probably improve his defense a bit, I don't think it would be to a degree that would matter.

THINK WALD PUSSY.....Steward jab/right hand, stay away don't engage style has done wonders for him. Of course KHAN can only go so long fighting bums...eventually he will have to step up and get KTFO again.

As I've said before, Khan is too stupid to fight like wald pussy. It's a silly comparison. wald pussy has far more boxing skill, ringsmarts, and discipline. Khan could never fight like that.

Yeah, Wald pussy may be what he is but he is still levels above the fencepost, who is quite possibly the dumbest 'fighter' I can remember. He is literally too thick to learn, even after two brutal KTFO's, that he needs to keep his hands up, that he should develop some sidewards movement and that he shouldn't trade when he is hurt because his chin is glass. If you STILL can't do this after being sparked out TWICE, you ain't going to figure it out.

He is thick as a brick, no doubt. But if anything and anyone CAN help him, it's Manny Steward. Roach is the most overrated trainer of all time.

Khan is the new Judah. He's got potential, but he's as dumb as a box of rocks and has no chin.

Khan will never go full 12 rounds with Mayweather...or 11 with Cotto...though he might go more than 2 vs. Tszyu...

I've never seen Guzman fight, but Khan has recently denied that he will be his next opponent when Khan returns to the ring in December. His reason? Because Khan feels Guzman is beneath him, despite being a two-weight World Champion.
