Good matchup this should be. Golovkin unbeaten and Proska should provide a decent test for him. Anyone fancy the Pole here?
Yeah Glovekin pretty koo. That Proska dewd isn't too bad, but I expect Glovvles to slap him around like a red headed, Polish farmer's son.

Damn, Golovkin was good. Proksa was impressive when he whacked Sebastian Sylvester around, but he had no answer whatsoever for Golovkin's accuracy and power. Golovkin vs Martinez must happen
Loved Golovkin's accuracy and balance against a bob & weave fighter. He seemed to know where to touch him at all times.
Proska is horrible. I wouldn't know who to pick if he were to fight Chalie Zelenoff. I'm not even joking. This guy is bad.
What the fuck was he doing with his head? He also does a strange thing with his right arm when he throws a left hook.
Yeah, it's his overall style that is just not pleasing on the eye. He was in over his head from early on and you could tell. Golovkin is a beast :bears:
Definitely want to see how far Golovkin can go. He looks solid. He did get hit a fair bit, but Proska has a crazy style so it could have been that.
He did get hit mainly with the left cross. I put it down to 2 things. 1) A decent left cross is pretty much all Proksa has at this level. 2) I think Golovkin knew the little Polish Eminem was undersized and overmatched, and he didn't have much to worry about. I think he'd be more careful fighting Martinez.
Proksa was over matched indeed. It was sad to see because the guy has huge heart and ambition. He's way too small to be a middleweight anyway. He should at the very most be at 154 pounds. At the very least i am proud of him coming in to win instead of running holding and trying to survive like a lot of over matched fighters do once they realize they're in over their head and especially when the other guy hits like a wrecking ball (see Tua / Lewis)
With a good team I think Proska could comfortably make 147. He's one of the smallest middleweights I've ever seen. As Irish alluded, I think being Polish, he doesn't quite understand the concept of weight cutting.
Let's Pump the Breaks on the Golovkin Love... YES, his American Debut was Impressive, but Upon 1st Glance he Reminded REED of a More Skilled Version of David Lemieux (sp), who ALSO Made a Big Initial Splash, Only to FIZZLE OUT Rather Quickly... REED Wants to See More of Golovkin as Well, but it's PREMATURE to Make him a Favorite Over the Martinez's or Chavez Jr's of the World... REED:up:

REED, come on man, he's clearly leagues above that scrub LeMoo in every way. Much more skilled, disciplined, accurate, everything. I don't disagree it might be a bit premature to pick him over Martinez, seeing as he hasn't really beaten anyone, but despite that I don't see any comparison to that testicle LeMoo. LeMoo looked like a bit of a sloppy bum even before he got worked over by Rubio.
Based on Sheer AMMY Pedigree, he's BETTER than LeMeiux, but they OPERATE in Similar Fashion & Possess Similar Strengths & Weaknesses...It's a SURFACE Comparison for Sure, but VALID as Well... REED:kidcool:
What do you think is similar about them though? LeMoo just always looked pretty basic and craftless to me. Just plodded forward, throwing big punches. He had some good power, but that was it. Glovekin more reminds me of a not-as-good, more aggressive version of Marquez. Really nice combos, very accurate, patient, good overall skill.
Their PHYSICAL Make-Up is Similar, they're Both Heavy Handed, Seek & Destroy Sorts & they Both have LESS than Stellar Defense... REED Isn't Sayin Golovin is a Carbon Copy of Lemieux, but he's CLOSER to that than he Is to Marquez, in REED's Opinion.... REED:hammert:
