Rafael is past it, but still very dangerous.

Vazquez isn't that good, but he took everything Nonito Donaire landed and made him look vulnerable. I think is a toss up.

Please....Vasquez game plan was to evade and not engage...he made Nonito look limited. Rafael is SHOT to shit, but he can still crack.

I think Jr is a good fighter, considering his lack of a amateur experience. I think he will continue to improve as time goes on.

Rafael best days are long gone, I'd be surprised if he won... he has a puncher's chance

If so explain Nonito's face. He took more shots from Vazquez Jr than from any previous boxer he has faced.

I dont keep track of punchstat all I know is what I saw....Nonito beat the hell out of Vasquez...outlanding him in 10-11 rounds easily. It was Vasquez stink tactics that might have made the fight someone competitive/allow Vasquez to bruise Nonito's face..

the old "look at his face" argument is a bad one

If I showed you post-fight pics of Gene Fullmer and Benny Paret, you'd swear Paret won the fight

Then you'd watch the fight and see Fullmer winning every round and dishing out a ridiculous beating... some guys swell up easy
