This film and The Avengers are the two films I am most looking forward to watch this summer. Anyone noticed the similarity in the music and editing style of this trailer with that of the original trailer for A L I EN? http://youtu.be/U_efRVzLYRQ
That's because its supposed to be very loosely based on events that occurred on the planet where they first saw the remains of the 'Space Jockey' in the first Alien movie.
Actually i cant see the trailer Panchy posted, but if it's exactly like the prometheus trailer, it's fan made. It's not real.
Is not fan made. It is the original 1979 trailer, but is not 'exactly like', but similar in style and music. The editors of Prometheus obviously and intentionally copied the editing style of the 70s trailer.
More I read about this, the more I'm looking forward to it as 'Alien' was and still is one my favorite movies of all time - everything about it was class.
Oh I plan to when it comes out on blueray. In the meantime, I can watch the R5 just so I can finally see what the hubbub is all about.
