    If you aren't collecting belts or making megabucks in superfights, you should be keeping belts.

    Ward should probably just do a mandatory defense and see if a big money challenger or challenge develops in the meantime.

    Sjekloca, 25-0 (7), is #1 for his WBC belt; Balzay is the interim champ and Magee is #1 for the WBA.

    Go with the unknown undefeated guy since it's easier to promote and beating undefeated guys is historically interesting and imo significant.

    No, what's fucking insanity is comparing Ward to Lacy. That's like comparing Floyd to Maidana.

    I think Ward would beat prime Calz 8-4, or 7-5 ish.

    Ward is good enough to neutralize nearly every fighters best assets. For Joe, his best asset was his activity level. And although Joe had a high ring IQ, and adjusted well, Ward's ring IQ is higher and I believe he would make the necessary adjustments required to outpoint Joe.

    The only fighter I can't see Ward adjusting to is prime Roy, too many insane physical gifts for Ward to handle.

    Ward already has a far better career than Calzahge had. Joe had talent, but he was protected and matched way too carefully save for precious few exceptions
