Good stoppage that. Ref made a sensible call at a good time. That'll be that for Mitchell. Just doesn't have the chin for the task. Burns is solid enough, game and enjoyable to watch most of the time.

Not sure. Mitchell has taken a few punches in his time.......not sure if anything can be read into the Prescott fight....fair to say they are both pretty weak. Mitchell always took a better shot, Khan got hit by fewer but reacted worse to the few he was hit by.

Burns can't punch for shit, I can't see Khan getting KO'd by a guy who hits as lightly as Ricky. It wasn't even like they were flush, turned over shots.

Garcia might not be Edwin Rosario, but he does have decent dig in his left hook.

Burns isn't much of a puncher.

PLUS, Mitchell couldn't handle Kat's power in the least bit. Whereas Khan survived (barely) Maidana's bombs, and Maidana's a much bigger banger than Kat.

I think Mitchell might be the ONLY one with a shittier chin than Khan.

 

Mitchell has no business at 135 though, he was always easy to hit and easy to get-going at 130 by the less-than-stellar likes of Carl Johannson.

I think they are both chinnier than Jimmy Hill.

 

I know Burns isn't a puncher, but that WAS a meaty left hook that decked him. His head flipped round, you could see it really crunched into his jaw.

That was my thoughts too regarding Khan, that even he wouldn't get KO'd by someone with Burns's power, but you never know. Both chins are super crap.

Mitchell never got dropped by a guy with ZERO KO's (Khan got dropped by Rachid Drilzane who was 17-3 with ZERO KO's at the time)

Mitchell would get dropped by Mike Gomez, but not by Limond.

Willie Limond is the very definition of pillow-fisted and he dropped Khan hard and broke his jaw.

I've got my suspicions about Mitchell, too. Those eyebrows look shaped. Apparently they really hit it off immediately & Kevin will always be grateful to Ricky for introducing him to the stimulating world of 'Lattes'.
