When Benavidez heard of Bisping's response, he wrote the following…

"Wow didn't think a big, tough, secure guy like [Bisping] would get all butt hurt at my blog. Pretty funny."

I can't think of an athlete that I went from absolutely detesting to completely digging faster than Bisping.

He kills me with the things he says and the fact that he'll fight anyone.

But the thing I like the most is that he doesn't blame anyone but himself for not getting a title shot. He's honest enough to admit that he had two chances against Henderson and Sonnen to earn title shots but lost both. He didn't whine or cry but got healthy and will fight another top guy in Brian Stann.

I'd pay money to see him beat Benavidez and Faber at the same time.

 

I never watched the TUF season where Bisping coached so I never found out why everyone hated him. Whatever the case might be when he fought Hendo , Hendo landed a huge cheap shot on an unconscious and to me that makes him a way bigger dick than anything Bisping might have said. And you know what ? If Bisping is a dick ,at least he's up front about it. It's who he is and he doesn't give a fuck and I'll take that any day over a fake ass smiling baby holding dicks.

 

I thought Bisping won that fight with Sonnen. I used to hate him too, but I have all the respect in the world for him now. He'll fight anyone at any time, and his shit talk about his opponents is funny once you see him in the right interviews. He's a legit top 5 middleweight too. I thought he had no chance against guys like Kang, Akiyama, and Sonnen, but he won all three of those fights. Except for the bad judging in the Sonnen fight. He'd have a real shot at being the middleweight champ if Anderson Silva wasn't there.

 

Bisping came off as a dick when he competed in the Ultimate Fighter 6 year ago. He seemed like a dick in interviews, then he got a gift decision (robbery) against Matt Hamill, then he ran for 3 rounds and won a decision against Chris Leben who came to fight that night. That was all before he coached TUF. I didn't like him then, but I've become a fan since then.

 

I have never liked Bisping. The truth is, he hits like a bitch and everyone knows it. He probably should fight Benavides cuz he ain't hurting anyone at 185 with his pillow fists. He has been pushed into fights to get title shots time and time again and has never beat anyone to get them. He was given a gift to Hamil, and then acted like the no class punk after that talking shit about a deaf guy. After the Rivera fight he spits at Rivera's corner. I really don't see how anyone can like this clown. Now he's being pushed right back up to the top because Dana wants the Euro buys on his ppv's. He's a chump. Every time he's been put in with any elite fighter he's been destroyed. Hell even 65 year old Wandy outclassed him. And Boss, you fight till the ref pulls you off. This is MMA. Hendo blasted him and followed it to the ground like every fighter is trained to do. Get out of here with that pussy ass shit about a cheap shot.

If the fighter knows his opponent is out and still pounds away that's cheap bro. Who gives a fuck about the ref then. If you were in a fight and got knocked out and somebody kept kicking you in the head while out cold and ended up with brain damage how would you feel about it?

 

Bisping knocked out two of his last three opponents with his pillow fists. He doesn't have one punch knockout power, but he has the skills to beat most of the middleweights out there. Sonnen is an elite fighter at middleweight, and I thought Bisping beat him. He wasn't destroyed, anyway, even if you agree with the judge's decision.

I don't think Hendo landed a cheap shot either. He kept fighting until the ref stopped it. I've seen so many fights where it looks like someone is out, but he comes back to keep fighting. Hendo just made sure Bisping wasn't going to keep fighting that night.

 

I agree with most all of this. I do like him more these days. He's always been a dick but at least now he's man enough to let me people know he is and he accpeted his loses, other than Hamill, which he lost regardless of the judges decision.

 

The fight isn't over until the ref stops it, those are just the rules. Many fighters have let fighters get back into a fight because they backed off thinking it was over, when the ref hadn't actually stoppped it even though and opponent was badly hurt.

 

You fight until the ref pulls you off. If you don't like that then you shouldn't watch MMA, because that is what all the fighters are trained to do. Hendo is one of the most respected fighters on the planet. Never once has he been considered a dirty fighter. Bisping's character is always questioned.

 

It's the REF's JOB (Which he Gets PAID For) to PROTECT the Fighters, it's the Fighters Job to FIGHT...

I loved every second of Henderson's KO of Bisping. Even the shot after he was out. This is fighting not fucking sweater knitting. It's like the people getting upset at Jon Jones for not carefully placing Machida's limp body on the canvas after choking him out cold. Who cares? Nobody died

This interview just re-affirms how much of a faggot Bisping is. Benavidez didn't even say shit, just went along with an interview question, then Bisping makes like a retard and explodes and BRINGS HIS OWN SON into the argument. That seems to be the road to Silva. Chael beat Stann and Bisping for his shot. I think Bisping should fight Weidman to see who gets the next shot.

 

In all fairness NO ONE at the moment at 185lbs has earned a shot at Silva more than Bisping, the guy has been been beating top opponents for far longer than he should have to get a shot. He's got 24 wins now I think and still no title shot yet. As much as I think Weidman might be the next big thing, he simply hasn't done enough to earn the shot over Bisping. Sure Bisping will likely get KO'd by Silva but at least let him have this shot by now. This was one of my pet peeves with Bisping for the longest time was that he had almost 20 wins before he ever even mentioned a title shot. He won fight after fight and claimed he was the best but never once called out Silva. Now in the last 2-3 fights he's suddenly started asking for it. I've been waiting him for him to take that chance about 5-6 fights ago.

 

Bisping shouldn't have lost to Wandy and Sonnen or he would have had a shot. I thought he won the Sonnen fight though.

 

i wouldnt even want a title shot if i were bisping. he's a big draw in the u.k and is formidable enough in the stateside to keep fighting other contenders and collect pay. he'd get destroyed by silva. he should hope that silva either moves up or retires next year so he could get a shot a vacant title.

 

And again who is more deserving right now based on accomplishments than Bisping? Bisping hasn't really been dominated in a fight other than the Dan Henderson fight. So even in his few losses, they've been competitvely close.

 

Weidman is the only other guy really. I think Weidman and Bisping should fight for the next title shot

 

The problem with that from a promoter standpoint is that you got two guys right now that are probably next in line for a shot at Silva, if you make them fight each other, only one gets to go forward, the other has to get back in line and Silva is already out of opponents. I say let him fight Bisping now and then Weidman after, that way Silva still has two credible title defenses ahead of him.

 

I don't like Bisping, but I agree with this. Let me see Silva decapitate Bisping, then let me see him fight Weidman. BTW, I don't think Silva has it easy with Weidman.

 

Bisping is MARQUEE Enough where UFC would Be Foolish NOT to Give him a Shot @ Silva...Silva-Bisping OUTSELLS Most of Silva's Other PPV's, and if it's in England, the LIVE GATE Would be Ridiculous as Well...

Yep. The UFC has milked the Bisping UK train long enough. Give him the next shot at Silva. And it would be retarded to do it anywhere other than England. What's the biggest venue in the UK? Is there some place bigger than Wembley? If so book it and it sells out within minutes.
