Coming up in about an hour. Great free TV card. The Struve-Miocic is a 5 round main event with the winner really moving up the HW ranks. But the card is filled with good match-ups and important fights.

Hardy-Sadollah could be a fun war. Sadollah loves his Muay Thai and Hardy likes to bang so it could be a fun, short stand-up war.

Undefeated Paul Sass takes on the very solid Matt Wiman. Wiman doesn't know how to be boring. The dude has won FOTN 4 times in his UFC career. Meanwhile, Sass is a BJJ maven with 12 of his 13 wins via submission. Wiman has never been submitted in 20 MMA fights.

Hathaway-Mcguire pits 2 of Englands most promising talents. Hathaway is 6-1 in the UFC and is probably being talked about as a title contender if not for his lone loss, to Mike Pyle. Mcguire continues to fly under the radar, but the dude is just a good fighter. He is a ground expert but can contend in the stand-up department.

I don't think much of Struve as a fighter. I would be surprised if he won.

Hardy\Sadollah and Sass\Wiman should be entertaining scraps.

Great fight card. Some relatively amazing results. The biggest shocker was Matt Wiman subbing Paul Sass with an armbar. Struve stopping the granite chinned Miocic was a bit of a shock to me. And Dan Hardy looks completely rejuvinated and far more well-rounded than at any time in his career.

The thing about Hardy is that he is an incredibly hard training fighter and he's busted his ass since the GSP fight to improve his wrestling. You can tell. He looked very solid against Sadollah.

Wiman\Sass was proof that fights can go to the ground and not be balls out slugfests and still be a very entertaining fight. Watching them trade submission attempts and ground control was awesome.

that's exactly what I was thinking. Unfortunately, most fighters, when on top position, have the take no risk attitude wich makes the ground game usally boring

I watched it on Facebook but they also showed it on the FUEL broadcast. The kid looks rock solid. His stand-up looked very good and when it went to the ground, he was unstoppable.

I can't wait to see him again. He lived up to the hype. Demarques Johnson isn't horrible but he looked clueless on his feet and on the ground.

No doubt. Those were 4 of the most tense minutes of the entire fight card. Good for Wiman not being intimidated on the ground. Amazing stuff for sure.

I was watching the fights with my parents and my mom loved the Wiman/Sass fight. That was some top level grappling for sure. Struve really impressed me guys. This cat just keeps reeling off wins at HW. I really believe he deserves a top tier shot. Isn't Nogeira fighting on this Silva/Bonnar card? Give Struve the winner. He deserves it.

Struve has asked for Werdum now. I'd say that's a good fight for him if he's ready to move to the next level. Werdum may not want the fight as he may see it as a step back but I think its a good fight for both at this point. Both have great grappling and subs, although Werdum is better, and both have come a long way with their striking also. I think Werdum may win it, but Struve wants the fight and its a HUGE statement if he can beat Werdum that he's ready for a top 5 guy.

Its very possible but then again I thought Miocic had a good chance to beat Struve and see what happened there. I wouldn't pick Struve to beat Werdum but I think its aa good test for Struve to see if he's ready for the top 5.

Werdum is much more proven. Look what he did to Roy Nelson, a guy who KO'd Struve.

People seem to lose sight of the fact that Struve is a kid. The dude was what? 21 or 22 when he lost to Nelson and JDS. Unlike Mitrione who is too old to improve dramatically, Struve is a guy that seems to still be phyiscally maturing. He looks stronger in every fight. And his hands continue to get better. If the kid ever learns to throw a meaningful jab, he will be hell to deal with.

I think Werdum-Struve is a perfect match-up given where they both are right now in their careers. Neither one is an easy fight for the other.

I'm with Trp, I think the ceiling on Struve is so absurd. It sort of reminds me of a young Nick Diaz. He's building a resume at such a young age, with impressive wins over good names. I think Werdum beats him, but I would not be alarmed in the slightest if Struve found a way to win. Thats what he seems to have a knack at. If his jab really truly develops, this kid is sick and very tough matchup.

Struve has a lot of potential, I just think Werdum is a bit much for him right now. A couple years down the road? Struve might be killing everyone. Not only is he improving a lot in each fight, the guy is awesome to watch. He's always in good fights.

Gunnar looked fantastic in the way some fighters can when matched up against fighters who aren't on their level. Johnson simply wasn't on his level and I agree that Johnson isn't horrible.

It was one of the 2 or 3 most memorable fights on the card, and maybe the most memorable. I know I'll be interested when he fights again.

Yes sir. That's probably the most important take away from the fight. Gunnar is a guy worth watching out for.
