I've gone back and forth on this on a few times. At first I saying Rios w/o question, then I started thinking Alvarado might be too big and strong for him, but now I'm back to my original thinking. I've got Rios by late TKO. He's simply a better fighter than Alvarado, with better offensive skills, and he should carry 140 well. Size aside, there's really no other area Alvarado has an edge in. Definitely a war all the way, but I see Bam Bam's more compact shots taking its toll on Alvarado in the long run. Rios TKO 9.
Tough fight to pick...whoever get's tired first is FUCKED... If Rios makes weight without any problems...I think he wins a decision he shouldn't have a problem making weight. THis has the making of a CLASSIC....Castillo vs. Corales I kinda stuff.
Rios late TKO in a war. Wouldn't be surprised if both guys hit the canvas here. I think Rios superior punching power will be the difference.
Hard fight to pick all I know is I hope Rios takes a nap on the canvas. He's fighting a guy who is actually bigger than him for once. Let's see how he does fighting someone his own size.
