I'm hoping Alvarado stops Rios.

Nishioka is getting on a bit now but he is/was mustard and has every chance against Donaire IMO.

SOmething about every time ALvarado lands that makes me thing Rios won't be able to take it....but Rios keep eating those hard punches...

 

Rios defense is his offense. He's keeps his guard tight and shortening his left hook nicley but is still getting hit a lot.

I don't know what kind of gas tank Alvarado has but this would appear to favor him if the fight goes to later rounds. Surprisingly few body punches thrown so far by either guy.

Rios throwing a lot but not landing clean....maybe that is the strategy throw a lot but with NOT much power...let Alvarado throw every punch with mean intentions....and will all his power...
