I was in the pub watching the Chunky fight and it was pretty loud so I didn't hear what Tyson Furry said, just heard it now, fucking EPIC :laugh11:

Fury is pathetic. He pulled out of the fight to take on Rogan and Maddalone and now Price is pulling ahead and has the titles that Fury vacated......well....he's all talk. You could see Fury get all wobbly and tearful last night, typical tinker....He knows with his chin that Price is going to lay him the fuck out.

No. He's got ridiculous power, ridiculous size and a decent jab. Under any rules, any era, that gives him a chance.

I agree with Ugo...I want to see him take a decent blow on the noggin before proclaiming him to be the next this or that, I want to see how he deals when a guy slips inside.

He doesn't stop guys, he dehumanizes them. Sure, its bargain-basement stuff so far, but he's been stopping common-opponents better than his more vaunted rivals. He'd blow out Chisora faster than Vitali or Haye and he'll do Fury in a few rounds.

On his pro debut, versus a scrub, he lifted the guy clean off the canvas with a right hand. Sure, the guy was a bum, a 248lb bum who hit Price on the break, wobbling him, but who was put to sleep moments later. It's rare we see that sort of real power.

I honestly did feel that if Audley had a pair he could have reached in and hurt Price, but....Audley is Audley.

 

He's not quite as good as Mike Grant was 15 years ago, but I guess he's decent today.

 

Mike Grant had a better chin. Mike Grant had a fraction of this guys natural strength and power.

 

If Grant really had a better chin, then Price doesn't have a great shot of being a top heavy even today.

 

Grant had a great chin. Lewis braced the guys skull with his left hand and hit him in the head with right uppercuts and how the fuck he got up......I don't know.

 

I'm still not sold on the Price.

Although the knockout was impressive and shows he has genuine power, beating Audley Harrison is no indicator of his true value

I am sticking to my original prognosis.....Price is huge, strong and hits like all hell. He's going places if he has a half-a-chin and a bit of balls to go with it.

 

He brings an obvious but nonetheless interesting dynamic to a prospective fight with Wlad in the fact that he's bigger. Plus he clearly has a dig on him. Wlad won't be able to hide behind his jab and will actually have to fight a bit, it's an interesting one.
