Honestly,Pavlik is a terrible opponent, a used to be dangerous guy now burned out and drunk, who always had trouble with movers and boxers.

 

not sure what to think of pavlik anymore. i thought he was awesome knocking out not so great JT and outpointing him in the rematch, but hasn't done a damn thing since. perhaps that beatdown from hopkins took a lot out of him, and the whupping he got from martinez probably didn't help either. that or maybe he was never that good to begin with.

 

Unless the Pavlik camp plans to poison Ward prior to the fight, this will be one of the most non-competitive fights ever.

I will prefer to see him against Chavez Jr. He can make even more money than against Ward and has a real chance of winning to become significant again. Against Ward is a lose, lose situation.

obviously it's not likely, but if nothing else Pavlik can punch and it's not like Ward has an iron chin.

 

I don't see how Pavlik takes this fight. The Chavez fight must not be there. Maybe the right hand gets there? Pavlik must be looking at a major payday to be considering this fight.

Much more interesting fight than Pavlik vs Ward. It's almost a guarantee Ward beats Pavlik, Golovkin gets hit way more than Ward so Pavlik's chances would be much greater.
