This time instead of fighting a big Argentinian, he'll fight one his size in Maidana. Who wins?

 

could go either way... Maidana has no skills to speak of but he can punch decently...

 

Awesome fight....two warriors with great chin and both are reckless and never stop coming...


In 12 rounder I don't see Gatti's face holding up....Maidana takes rounds off but then comes back violently, while Gatti seems to slow in the late rounds.

I know but Maidana @ 140 was still better than a "prime" Baldomir at welter. I suppose it's a winnable fight for Gatti, but i'd have to go with Maidana.

There is not a lot to analyze. It's a fire fight for certain.

Maidana would survive a KD and stop Gatti late. Be a helluva war though, and Gatti would have his moments.

As opposed to Matthyse, who would destroy Gatti in a one sided fight.
