If this fight happens, who comes out on top? Khan did everything arse about face throughout his career. He was just a few fights in and signed a Sky PPV deal, he wanted the gold without putting in the leg work. On the other side Brooks team have brought him along at a steady pace and he looks a real contender. Based on recent bouts I would have to go with Brook. What do you guys think?
It would make a good fight with their styles. I'm still not sure what to make of Brook. He has good reflexes and picks his shots nicely but he hasn't fought top opposition yet and his fitness came into question against Carson in a fight he struggled in and that turned out to be a good scrap. I hope the Alexander fight happens early next year then we'll know more about Brook.
Carson was a great learning curve for Brook. He bossed the fight early but like you said he ran outta gas from 6 on. He showed a lotta heart in that fight.
I agree, it was a good learning curb for him. His last opponent provided little threat to him and now's the perfect time to step up. I'm pretty sure the alexander fight is going ahead in January now.
It will be a tough fight but providing his conditioning is better than the Carson bout (he recently brought on a new coach) I have Brook by clear decision.
Brook gets exposed and fails when he steps up, just like every other Ingle fighter. "I know I know I know hehehe" Alexander is pretty scrubby, so if Brook manages to scrub one out Vs Alexander, he still loses to Khan. I'm actually picking Alexander to win a hideously dull decision over Brook.
