Ricky Hatton vs Vyacheslav Senchenko

It's only a few days away now. Anyone bothered about it? Anyone believe Hatton's coming back for the right reasons? Three years away so it'll be interesting to see how he looks but I still fancy him to beat Senchenko rather comfortably. What is absurd is that this is a PPV fight which, imo, is ridiculous. Sky should have been all over this, tbh. This fight though should still get many viewers but I won't pay £15 to see it i'm afraid.

i think it would be a good story if Vyacheslav knocked Ricky the F out cold

Just imagine, all those people buying tickets to go see him and tuning in on tv and he gets knocked out

    It won't happen though.....

I never really liked Hatton. His style was like an aggressive John Ruiz. Lots of dirty shit going and. Lots of holding. Lots of unclean action. It just wasn't fun to watch.

Around the Time of the Maussa Fight, REED Found Himself Becoming a FAN of Ricky Hatton...After All, there's "Only One....."

Dude was BOX OFFICE, AMBITIOUS, GROUNDED & AGGRESSIVE, Even as he Clinched...w/Out Question, Ricky Hatton was GOOD for Boxing...Not just British or European Boxing, but the ENTIRE Sport as a Whole...The Way Hatton's Fans TRAVELED Across the Pond w/Him is UNPRECEDENTED & Speaks to his Pugilistic VALUE...

REED Can't Say he Felt Sad for the Way Hatton Lost to Pacquiao, but the FALLOUT from that Disaster Certainly Has Been...According to Yahoo, Hatton's Broken Ties w/his Parents, Contemplated Suicide, Ballooned to OVER 200lbs and Become QUITE the Drug User...Obviously Trying to ESCAPE the Humbling Loss to Pacquiao...

REED has Gained Some Insight into the Mentality of Prizefighters & Oftentimes, their MANHOOD, the CHARACTER they've Created Through Fighting, is ALL they Have...On that Note, A Comprehensive, "Early Doors" Loss is THE WORST Possible Thing that Could Happen to a Man who Fancies Himself a WARRIOR...Hatton's Trying to RECAPTURE Some of Himself w/this Comeback, but REED is Afraid Things Could SNOWBALL from Here...

REED Doesn't Know Shit about Hatton's Opponent, but Hopefully Ricky Wins, then RETIRES...

Is this a money thing or a manhood thing?

I personally think Hatton's after redemption. Layed out on his back after being knocked out by Pacquiao still haunts him.

I'll watch it, I won't pay for it, I hope he wins, I think he will win but there is a fair chance he will lose even though Senchenko is shit. I cannot see any way in which Hatton will be anything but much, much worse than the guy I hoped would retire before the Manny fight (when I thought he was actually dead for a few seconds). Other than that, I'm not sure what else I think on the matter, which is a shame, because I was once probably Ricky's biggest fan on this site.

An "old school Ricky Hatton" is what Ricky himself is after.

I just watched Pac Hatton again for kicks today. Aside from the ko shot, it was just a ridiculous domination.

In fairness, Hatton fought absolutely horribly.....no combos, one out hooks, leaping in like a tard, no footwork...he thought he could monster PAC in there and got monstered himself.

This Senchenko is made for Hatton.

He was way, way past his best by then and, as you say, he fought like an absolute idiot and I genuinely thought he was dead when he hit the floor at the end of the second. I'm far from convinced by this 'comeback' and, other than making him some more dosh, I can't see what he'll get from this.If he loses, his depression will be even worse and if he wins, he might start up with fantastic delusions of grandeur and think he can beat the top guys again. Which he can't.

The end game here is clearly a fight with Khan, which will make both of them squillions in PPV sales here. It's a fight that a prime Hatton wins in three painfully one-sided rounds. When it happens in late 2013, its a fight he loses widely. For a Hatton fan, it's all a bit sad.

Ricky Hatton was a fantastic fighter. He was the man at 140. No questions.

Hatton was all about strength, aggression, hunger and youth. They are all gone.

He couldn't have spent all that money... not yet. IMO he's back to re-capture the glory days. It's sad to see.

Yeah there's really no indication he was way, way past his best. He looked solid and sharp against Paulie, not even close to being shot.

What's wrong with boxingguru? Quality is good for a stream, you mean the awful commentary? Or the adverts you have to keep closing?

It's shit. I've got some nice fast Internet now and it's still buffering too often.

I fucking hate streams. Wish this shit was on TV.

Weird, I think it must be your latency, as it's an English stream. No buffering for me, it's totally solid.
