If Tyson doesn't get Norton out within two rounds he'd get beaten down. I suppose it's possible, but i don't like the version of Tyson that fought Lennox to beat any decent heavyweight.
Yeah, I'd give Kenny Norton a real good shot at avoiding the early blitz... He wins Prime for prime, it's the worst possible matchup for Norton. He does what he always did against the big bangers: Freeze up like he is waiting to see just how awful those punches really are and then hearing someone shouting "TEN"... Anyone with average to merely good power had a miserable time with Norton... Tyson's power was rare and the speed added to it was even rarer, that one doesn't go a single round
Norton was a much better fighter than many around here give him credit for. He beats the Tyson who fought Lewis. He gets past the first round or so...Tyson runs out of gas and ideas...Norton then outworks Tyson and takes him into the middle rounds before stopping him. I suspect he might even stop Tyson earlier than Lewis did, because Norton wouldn't be quite as cautious as Lewis was when it was obvious Tyson was running out of steam.
