See for yourself. Fair play to Freedie and all, but the way he was throwing his punches, the expression on his face....it was pretty comical viewing. Dawson is dire.

wow, he's awful, awful, awful. Fuck him for using boxing in trying to build himself up as a tough guy, while having obviously no skills or respect for it. To be honest, any gym have regulars ( as in non pro or amateur fighter ) who would beat him up easilly

Why fair play to him ??? they picked a guy who was there to take a dive and make him look like a bad ass ( wich is pretty much the only reason he '' got into '' boxing imo ). They were absolutely no risk for him in taht fight yet he managed to get kd, the other guy knew his role.

Flintoff deserves respect. Sure, he can't fight, and yes, he is pimping boxing to further his own end, and yes, it's a sham that boxing only gets noticed because a drunken ex-cricketer was in a sham of a fight, and sure, he probably lost the fight, but...in fact, fuck Freddie Flintoff.

Boxing is a business, a charade, a game, a sham. We know this. Floyd and his drugs is the Broadway version of the sham, Freddie Flintoff is the dime-theater end of the sham.

    This IS boxing now, pal.
It's just that the FightBeat 'hardcore' and (those like them) get all sniffy about it when you point it out.
Random-FightBeat-Know-it-All-Cunt: "Boxing's not dead...nowhere near...look at all the upcoming fights we have...the sport's in a good place right now" and they go on to list 5 or so fights, the combatants of which no-one has heard of or is likely to hear of again.

Anyway, who's on the next UFC 155 card... :crafty:
