That's a bunch of crap. Diaz does NOT deserve a title shot coming off a loss and a failed drug test. Hendricks is getting hosed.

Who does Hendricks fight? And it should be on the same card.

Sure, but would you honestly rather watch GSP Vs Hendricks? You think it's anywhere near as compelling as GSP Vs Diaz?

Hendricks at least has a chance to land a KO punch on GSP. Diaz doesn't. But watching GSP take down and lay and pray either fighter for 5 rounds isn't very compelling.

I don't see it happening. I think GSP is too damn cautious and crafty these days for a Hendricks KO to be realistic. As I said in another thread, I tend to go for the guy who is simply the better overall fighter, and that's Diaz. I would make GSP a big favourite, but I think Diaz has a more realistic chance of outworking or submitting or overwhelming GSP, than Hendricks does landing a big hayemaker.

You are 100% correct, but does it surprise you at all? The UFC has zero system in place as to who gets the shot. Its always been whoever they think makes the most sense for the PPV. Hendricks getting hosed means absolutely nothing..

That's a great point. In reality there is only a miniscule difference between Nick's loss to Condit and Hendrick "win" over Koscheck.
