I've already re-watched the fight twice on my PVR. I still can't believe what I saw.

You can't believe a 39-year old blown-up feather with just 7 stoppages in his last 20 fights totally KO'd a 33-year old blown-up feather who's been down once.
    No, neither can I.

Not at all. But I don't feel bad for the guy with a fear of needles.

It was a fucking great shot. Perfectly timed and all of Marquez weight behind it.

I rewatched because of the shock and violence. The shot came out of nowhere, gave me the shakes.

I thought Pacquiao won just about every minute of the fight except the two right hands! Round 5 was really incredible.

But suddenly JMM is Julian Jackson. I wish I could bask in the wondrous unpredictability of the sweet science without these nagging doubts about the role other branches of science played

Marquez is the best of the era. Better than pacquiao or Mayweather jr

So do I. I'd like to think it was a Pep vs Saddler 2nd-fight type of performance, where the guy pulled out all the stops and came good.

    But it weren't, were it?

Same. I had Pacquiao up 4-1 with the knockdowns canceling eachother. It was one second away from being 5-1.

I really don't know. Those two right hands he landed were probably cleaner & blinder than any he'd previously landed on Manny and he was allot bigger/stronger. And the later point doesn't necessarily mean steroids, it's not like your average man doesn't put on a few lb of muscle when he starts weight training. It's just the nagging doubt that accompanies anybody doing anything out of the ordinary which is the sad thing.

I dont find the KO suspicious. That was the first time JMM landed a perfectly timed shot right on the gusher. If he lands the same shot in fight 1 he wins by KO

btw, watching the fight again, did anyone else notice pac trying to get up? Not his mind, but his body? I like i see his back making up upward motion, very flight while he is on the ground.

check out Marquez's perfect foot positioning before the KO with his left foot on the outside there...Pac couldn't have done anything with his left hand when stepping forward on the inside like that. leaving Marquez confident to load up the right
